Nur Afifah, PEMETAAN GEOLOGI DAN ANALISIS DATA MIKROTREMOR UNTUK UJI KERENTANAN BANGUNAN DUA LANTAI DI KECAMATAN SAMALANGA, KABUPATEN BIREUEN. Banda Aceh Fakultas Teknik,2026

Abstract

Abstract The Samalanga Subdistrict, located in Bireuen Regency, is one of the areas vulnerable to and at risk of earthquake hazards resulting from tectonic activity; the impact of such disasters can damage infrastructure and threaten public safety. Geographically, this study is situated at coordinates 5˚8’38.6” – 5˚11’22.71” N and 96˚20’13.48” – 96˚22’57.55” E, with a study area of approximately 25 km². This study aims to determine the lithological conditions of the rocks, geological structures, and landform features through geological mapping, as well as the frequency and resonance values of buildings to assess their vulnerability levels. Geological mapping was conducted by collecting data or information directly from field observations. In this case study, the microtremor method—specifically the Floor Spectral Ratio (FSR)—was used to obtain natural frequency and amplification values, which were then used for building vulnerability analysis with the assistance of Geopsy software. Based on the results of geological mapping, three rock units were identified: an interbedded mudstone and sandstone unit (Tlm), an andesite and sandstone unit (Qpi), and alluvial deposits (Qh). The landforms at the study site were classified into two categories: denudational and fluvial. Based on the results of microtremor measurements, the building resonance index falls into the low category, with values for the EW direction on the first floor at 133.06% and on the second floor at 150%; for the NS direction, the values are 124.19% on the first floor and 223.38% on the second floor. Meanwhile, the building vulnerability index for the EW direction on the first floor is 532.72 and on the second floor is 4253.05; for the NS direction, the value on the first floor is 567.01 and on the second floor is 304.84, with the highest value occurring on the second floor; thus, in the event of a disaster, this floor is most at risk of sustaining damage.
