Aural hematoma merupakan kondisi penumpukan darah pada daun telinga akibat pecahnya pembuluh darah yang umumnya dipicu oleh trauma, otitis, atau infestasi parasit. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tata laksana persiapan tindakan operasi dan perawatan kasus aural hematoma pada kucing persia serta peran paramedik veteriner dalam mendukung keberhasilan penanganan kasus tersebut di shimmer vet and clinic. metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus pada seekor kucing persia jantan bernama bubul berumur dua tahun dengan berat badan 3,3 kg yang didiagnosis mengalami aural hematoma. data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. hasil menunjukkan bahwa paramedik veteriner berperan penting pada tahap praoperatif melalui persiapan pasien, sterilisasi alat, dan restrain; tahap intraoperatif melalui asistensi tindakan bedah, menjaga prinsip aseptik, serta monitoring anestesi; dan tahap pascaoperatif melalui pemantauan kondisi fisiologis, pemberian medikasi, pemasangan elizabeth collar, serta edukasi kepada pemilik. penerapan prosedur yang sistematis dan sesuai standar operasional prosedur mendukung keberhasilan tindakan pembedahan dan mempercepat proses pemulihan pasien. kata kunci: aural hematoma, kucing persia, paramedik veteriner, operasi, perawatan pascaoperasi.

An aural hematoma is a condition characterized by the accumulation of blood within the ear flap (pinna) resulting from ruptured blood vessels, typically triggered by trauma, otitis, or parasitic infestation. This study aimed to examine the management—specifically preoperative preparation and post-operative care—of an aural hematoma case in a Persian cat, as well as the role of the veterinary paramedic in ensuring successful treatment at Shimmer Vet and Clinic. A case study approach was employed, focusing on a two-year-old male Persian cat named Bubul (weighing 3.3 kg) diagnosed with an aural hematoma. Data were collected through direct observation, documentation, and a literature review. The results indicate that veterinary paramedics play a crucial role across all stages: the preoperative phase (patient preparation, instrument sterilization, and restraint); the intraoperative phase (surgical assistance, maintaining aseptic principles, and anesthesia monitoring); and the postoperative phase (monitoring physiological status, administering medication, applying an Elizabethan collar, and client education). The implementation of systematic procedures in accordance with standard operating protocols contributed to the success of the surgery and accelerated the patient's recovery.
