Herbisida dapat mengendalikan gulma dengan menghambat proses metabolisme vital seperti sintesis asam amino, respirasi dan pembentukan protein. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi beberapa herbisida pratumbuh terhadap hasil tanaman kedelai. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan februari sampai bulan juni 2026 dengan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok yang terdiri dari 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. adapun perlakuannya yaitu: bergulma terus-menerus, bebas gulma, penyiangan gulma pada 21 dan 42 hst, herbisida metribuzin 0,5 kg b.a ha-1, herbisida oksifluorfen 0,5 kg b.a ha-1, herbisida pendimethalin 0,5 kg b.a ha-1 dan herbisida pretilachlor 0,5 kg b.a ha-1. hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi beberapa herbisida pratumbuh berpengaruh terhadap indeks persentase keracunan tanaman, bobot kering gulma, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji pertanaman, bobot biji per tanaman dan hasil biji kering. herbisida pendimethalin 0,5 kg b.a ha-1 dan herbisida pretilachlor 0,5 kg b.a ha-1 tidak menimbulkan keracunan pada tanaman kedelai, mampu menurunkan bobot kering gulma serta meningkatkan jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman dan hasil biji kering. kata kunci: gulma, herbisida, kedelai



Abstract

Abstract. Herbicides can control weeds by inhibiting vital metabolic processes such as amino acid synthesis, respiration, and protein formation. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying several pre-emergence herbicides on soybean yield. The research was conducted from February to June 2026 using a Randomized Block Design consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were as follows: no weeding, weeding, weeding at 21 and 42 DAP (Days After Planting), metribuzin herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹, oxyfluorfen herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹, pendimethalin herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹, and pretilachlor herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹. The results showed that the application of several pre-emergence herbicides significantly affected the plant phytotoxicity percentage index, weed dry weight, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant, and dry seed yield. Pendimethalin herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹ and pretilachlor herbicide at 0.5 kg a.i. ha⁻¹ did not cause phytotoxicity to soybean, were able to reduce weed dry weight, and increased the number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant, and dry seed yield.
