This qualitative content analysis study aims to identify the types of tasks found in 12th-grade textbooks under the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as to determine the similarities and differences between the two textbooks. This study employs a qualitative content analysis method. Data for this study were obtained by analyzing the tasks found in the 12th-grade textbooks under the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum published by the Ministry. Research data were collected using an observation checklist. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that both textbooks share similarities in the first three dominant types of tasks: linguistic, interpersonal, and cognitive. Meanwhile, differences lie in the sequences of the dominant task types and variations within the same task types. Keywords: Curriculum, Task Types, Textbooks.
