Fungi mikoriza arbuskula (fma) merupakan mikroorganisme tanah dari kelompok glomeromycota yang membentuk simbiosis mutualistik dengan perakaran tanaman kopi arabika (coffea arabica l.) dengan tingkat kolonisasi mencapai 80%. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan spora fma, jenis spesies fma, dan tingkat keanekaragaman fma pada rizosfer kopi arabika di kecamatan celala, kabupaten aceh tengah. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada desember 2025 hingga januari 2026, dengan pengambilan sampel tanah komposit secara purposive sampling pada rizosfer kopi arabika di enam desa di kecamatan celala. sifat kimia tanah yang dianalisis meliputi ph, c-organik, n-total, p-tersedia, dan k-dd. proses isolasi spora fma dilakukan menggunakan metode wet sieving. spora yang terisolasi kemudian diidentifikasi karakteristik morfologinya berdasarkan klasifikasi invam, dan tingkat keanekaragaman dihitung menggunakan indeks shannon-wiener. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanah di lokasi penelitian umumnya bersifat masam, dengan kandungan p-tersedia sangat rendah, serta kandungan c-organik, n-total, dan k-dd yang rendah. pada kondisi tersebut, ditemukan total 2.112 spora fma dengan kerapatan rata-rata 70 spora per 50 g tanah. analisis morfologi mengidentifikasi adanya 12 spesies fma yang berasal dari empat genus berbeda, yaitu acaulospora sp 1, acaulospora sp 2, acaulospora sp 3, acaulospora sp 4, acaulospora sp 5, glomus sp 1, glomus sp 2, glomus sp 3, glomus sp 4, glomus sp 5, gigaspora sp 1 dan racocetra sp 1, dengan glomus sp 3 sebagai spesies paling dominan (15 spora fma/50g tanah). indeks shannon-wiener menunjukkan nilai keanekaragaman fma sebesar 2,17 yang termasuk kategori sedang.



Abstract

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) are soil microorganisms belonging to the Glomeromycota group that form a mutualistic symbiosis with the roots of Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.), with colonization rates reaching up to 80%. This study aimed to determine the presence of AMF spores, the AMF species composition, and the level of AMF diversity in the rhizosphere of Arabica coffee in Celala District, Central Aceh Regency. This research was conducted from December 2025 to January 2026, with composite soil samples collected through purposive sampling from the Arabica coffee rhizosphere in six villages within Celala District. The soil chemical properties analyzed included pH, organic C, total N, available P, and exchangeable K (K-dd). AMF spore isolation was carried out using the wet sieving method. The isolated spores were then identified based on their morphological characteristics according to the INVAM classification, and the diversity level was calculated using the Shannon-Wiener index. The results showed that the soils at the study sites were generally acidic, with very low available P content, as well as low organic C, total N, and exchangeable K content. Under these conditions, a total of 2,112 AMF spores were found, with an average density of 70 spores per 50 g of soil. Morphological analysis identified 12 AMF species from four different genera, namely Acaulospora sp 1, Acaulospora sp 2, Acaulospora sp 3, Acaulospora sp 4, Acaulospora sp 5, Glomus sp 1, Glomus sp 2, Glomus sp 3, Glomus sp 4, Glomus sp 5, Gigaspora sp 1, and Racocetra sp 1, with Glomus sp 3 being the most dominant species (15 AMF spores/50 g soil). The Shannon-Wiener index indicated an AMF diversity value of 2.17, classified as moderate.
