Kopi dekafeinasi merupakan produk kopi yang kandungan kafeinnya telah dikurangi tanpa menghilangkan aroma dan cita rasa aslinya. prarancangan pabrik ini bertujuan untuk merancang unit pengolahan biji kopi robusta menjadi produk tersebut, dengan kapasitas produksi 152.000 ton/tahun, waktu operasi 330 hari/tahun dan 24 jam/hari. metode yang digunakan dalam prarancangan ini adalah swiss water process, yaitu proses penurunan kadar kafein berbasis air tanpa pelarut kimia. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staf, serta membutuhkan tenaga kerja sebanyak 148 orang. lokasi pendirian direncanakan di kota negara, kecamatan lahat, kabupaten lahat, sumatera selatan, dengan luas lahan 15.350 m2. kebutuhan air diperoleh dari sungai lematang, sedangkan pasokan listrik bersumber dari generator diesel berkapasitas 374,43 kw. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut : 1. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp 890.798.028.907 2. working capital investmenst (wci) = rp 157.199.788.433 3. total capital investment (tci) = rp 1.098.302.521.852 4. total production cost (tpc) = rp 14.707.575.013.455 5. total sales (ts) = rp 15.286.387.090.312 6. laba bersih = rp 451.473.419.949 7. pay out time (pot) = 3,2 tahun 8. break event point (bep) = 71,39% 9. internal rate of return (irr) = 30,07% berdasarkan studi kelayakan teknis dan ekonomis diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa prarancangan pabrik kopi dekafeinisasi ini layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap rancangan.



Abstract

Decaffeinated coffee is a coffee product whose caffeine content has been reduced without eliminating its original aroma and flavor. This preliminary design aims to develop a processing unit that converts Robusta coffee beans into the product, with a production capacity of 152,000 tons/year, operating 330 days/year and 24 hours/day. The method applied is the Swiss Water Process, a water-based caffeine-reduction technique that does not involve chemical solvents. The proposed company will be established as a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational structure, requiring a total of 148 employees. The plant is planned to be located in Kota Negara, Lahat District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province, on a land area of 15,350 m². Water supply will be obtained from the Lematang River, while electricity will be generated using a diesel generator with a capacity of 374.43 kW. The results of the economic analysis are as follows: 1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 890,798,028,907 2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 157,199,788,433 3. Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 1,047,998,589,554 4. Total Production Cost (TPC) = Rp 3,982,855,512,383 5. Total Sales (TS) = Rp 4,708,397,376,801 6. Net Profit = Rp 565,922,654,246 7. Pay Out Time (POT) = 3.2 years 8. Break Event Point (BEP) = 71,39% 9. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 30,07% Based on the above technical and economic feasibility study, it can be concluded that the preliminary design of this Decaffeinated Coffee plant is feasible to proceed to the next design stage.
