Malnutrisi merupakan kondisi ketidakseimbangan asupan energi dan zat gizi yang dapat mengganggu fungsi metabolisme tubuh, termasuk fungsi hati yang dapat diidentifikasi melalui peningkatan kadar enzim serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (sgot) dan serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (sgpt). probiotik ragi dan bakteri asam laktat (rabal) yang diperkaya limbah ikan berpotensi sebagai agen hepatoprotektif yang mendukung pemulihan fungsi hati. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik rabal yang ditambahkan limbah ikan terhadap fungsi hati tikus putih (rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi malnutrisi berdasarkan parameter sgot dan sgpt. penelitian ini menggunakan desain rancangan acak lengkap (ral) non-faktorial dengan 4 kelompok perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. kelompok perlakuan terdiri atas p0 (kontrol positif: tikus normal + aquades), p1 (kontrol negatif: tikus malnutrisi + aquades), p2 (tikus malnutrisi + rabal 10% limbah ikan), dan p3 (tikus malnutrisi + rabal 20% limbah ikan). rabal diberikan secara oral gavage sebanyak dua kali sehari selama 14 hari. pengambilan darah dilakukan secara intrakardiak pada hari ke-21 dan ke-35, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan biochemistry analyzer. data dianalisis menggunakan uji anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji duncan (p



Abstract

Malnutrition is a condition of imbalance in energy and nutrient intake that can disrupt body metabolic functions, including liver function that can be identified through increased levels of Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase (SGOT) and Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT). The probiotic consisting of Yeast and Lactic Acid Bacteria (RaBAL) enriched with fish waste has the potential to act as a hepatoprotective agent that support liver function recovery. This study aimed to determine the effect of RaBAL probiotic supplemented with fish waste on the liver function of malnourished white rats (Rattus norvegicus) based on SGOT and SGPT parameters.This study employed a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatment groups and three replications. The treatment groups consisted of P0 (positive control: normal rats + distilled water), P1 (negative control: malnourished rats + distilled water), P2 (malnourished rats + RaBAL with 10% fish waste), and P3 (malnourished rats + RaBAL with 20% fish waste). RaBAL was administered orally by gavage twice daily for 14 days. Blood samples were collected intracardially on days 21 and 35 and analyzed using a biochemistry analyzer.
