Rendahnya hasil belajar fisika siswa masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang sering ditemukan dalam proses pembelajaran. kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum sepenuhnya memahami konsep fisika secara optimal, sehingga diperlukan upaya pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui penggunaan wordwall dengan model problem based learning (pbl) berbasis gamifikasi pada materi hukum archimedes. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi smas babul maghfirah aceh besar tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan sampel penelitian kelas xi.a yang berjumlah 30 siswa. pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respon siswa. analisis data menggunakan uji n-gain dan uji paired sample t-test. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 24,83 meningkat menjadi 77,33 pada posttest dengan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,70 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 35,04 lebih besar daripada t tabel sebesar 1,699 sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan setelah penerapan pembelajaran. selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik dan respon siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 90,39% dengan kategori sangat baik. dengan demikian, penggunaan wordwall melalui model problem based learning berbasis gamifikasi mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa pada materi hukum archimedes.



Abstract

Low physics learning outcomes remain one of the common problems encountered in the learning process. This condition indicates that students have not fully understood physics concepts, highlighting the need for learning strategies that can enhance student engagement during the learning process. This study aimed to determine the improvement in students' physics learning outcomes through the use of Wordwall integrated with gamification-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of Archimedes' Principle. This study employed a pre-experimental method using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students at SMAS Babul Maghfirah Aceh Besar in the 2025/2026 academic year, while the sample was class XI.A, consisting of 30 students. Data were collected using a learning achievement test, a learning implementation observation sheet, and a student response questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the N-Gain test and the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score of 24.83 increased to 77.33 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.70, which was categorized as high. The paired sample t-test showed that the calculated t-value (35.04) was greater than the critical t-value (1.699), indicating a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the learning model. In addition, the observation results indicated that the implementation of learning was categorized as very good, while the student response questionnaire obtained an average percentage of 90.39%, which was also categorized as very good. Therefore, the use of Wordwall through gamification based Problem Based Learning was able to improve students' physics learning outcomes on the topic of Archimedes' Principle.
