Abstrak judul : analisis pengaruh upah minimum terhadap kesempatan kerja di aceh: pendekatan propensity score matching penulis : cantika sarah julietta pasaribu nim : 2201101010119 fakultas/jurusan : ekonomi dan bisnis/ekonomi pembangunan pembimbing : - riswandi, s.e., m.ec., ph.d - anita faiziah, s.p., m.env. res.ec. konsentrasi : ekonomi regional dan perkotaan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan upah minimum terhadap kesempatan kerja di provinsi aceh. penelitian menggunakan data survei angkatan kerja nasional (sakernas) agustus 2023 yang diterbitkan oleh badan pusat statistik (bps), dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 18.825 individu angkatan kerja yang tersebar di 23 kabupaten/kota. metode analisis yang digunakan adalah propensity score matching (psm) dengan pendekatan nearest neighbor matching untuk mengestimasi atet. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan upah minimum berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja di provinsi aceh. temuan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kenaikan upah minimum yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan inflasi berkaitan dengan meningkatnya peluang individu untuk bekerja. kondisi tersebut juga mencerminkan adanya keterkaitan antara kebijakan ketenagakerjaan dan karakteristik pasar kerja regional di provinsi aceh. oleh karena itu, kebijakan upah minimum perlu didukung oleh kebijakan pendukung lainnya, seperti peningkatan kualitas tenaga kerja dan perluasan lapangan kerja formal, agar dampaknya terhadap kesempatan kerja dapat lebih optimal. kata kunci: upah minimum, kesempatan kerja, propensity score matching, provinsi aceh, sakernas

Res.Ec. Consentration : Ekonomi Regional dan Perkotaan This study aims to analyze the impact of minimum wage policies on employment opportunities in Aceh Province. The study uses data from the August 2023 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), with a sample size of 18,825 working-age individuals spread across 23 regencies and cities. The analysis method used is Propensity Score Matching (PSM) with a nearest neighbor matching approach to estimate the ATET. The results indicate that minimum wage policies have a significant positive effect on employment opportunities in Aceh Province. These findings suggest that increases in the minimum wage that exceed inflation are associated with higher employment opportunities for individuals. This condition also reflects the interconnection between labor policies and regional labor market characteristics in Aceh Province. Therefore, minimum wage policies need to be supported by other complementary policies, such as improving the quality of the workforce and expanding formal employment opportunities, so that their impact on employment opportunities can be optimized.
