(2026). validitas video pembelajaran untuk pengembangan computational thinking siswa sma berbantuan matlab. skripsi. universitas syiah kuala. di bawah bimbingan prof. dr. rahmah johar, s.pd., m.pd., dan mukhlis hidayat s.pd., m.kom. computational thinking (ct) merupakan salah satu keterampilan krusial abad ke-21, namun pembelajaran fungsi kuadrat saat ini umumnya masih bersifat konvensional dan prosedural hafalan. di sisi lain, pemanfaatan perangkat lunak komputasi seperti matlab sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa sma masih sangat terbatas. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas serta keterbacaan video pembelajaran fungsi kuadrat berbantuan matlab yang berorientasi pada kemampuan ct siswa. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (r&d) dengan model plomp, yang dibatasi pada fase penelitian pendahuluan (preliminary research) dan fase perancangan prototipe (prototyping phase). produk yang dihasilkan berupa tiga video pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan komponen ct pada materi ciri-ciri parabola, transformasi, dan sketsa grafik fungsi kuadrat. evaluasi produk melibatkan tiga validator ahli dan uji keterbacaan pada tiga siswa sma dengan tingkat kemampuan akademik yang heterogen. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata skor 85,72%. selain itu, hasil uji keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa media ini dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh siswa, dengan catatan perbaikan minor pada kualitas audio. dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar matematika untuk mendukung pengembangan kemampuan ct siswa sma. kata kunci: computational thinking, fungsi kuadrat, matlab, model plomp, video pembelajaran.

Mira Ananda. (2026). The Validity of Learning Videos to Develop Senior High School Students' Computational Thinking Assisted by MATLAB. Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala. Under direction by Prof. Dr. Rahmah Johar, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Mukhlis Hidayat, S.Pd., M.Kom. Computational thinking (CT) has emerged as a crucial 21st-century skill; however, the instruction of quadratic functions in secondary education often remains conventional and characterized by rote formula memorization. Furthermore, the integration of computational tools such as MATLAB into mathematics learning media for senior high school students remains significantly underdeveloped. This study aims to develop and evaluate the validity and readability of MATLAB-assisted educational videos on quadratic functions oriented toward students' CT skills. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology based on the Plomp model, the scope of this study was limited to the preliminary research and prototyping phase. The developed products consist of three educational videos integrating the core components of CT into the topics of parabolic properties, transformations, and sketching graphs of quadratic functions. Product evaluation involved three expert validators and a readability test conducted with three senior high school students representing heterogeneous academic capabilities. The results demonstrated that the educational videos achieved a high level of validity, with an average score of 85.72%. Additionally, the readability test indicated that the media was well-understood by students across all academic levels, requiring only minor adjustments to the audio quality. In conclusion, the developed educational videos are verified as valid and highly suitable for deployment as an alternative mathematics learning resource to support the cultivation of secondary students' computational thinking skills.
