Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan kalimat dalam teks opini pada koran serambi indonesia edisi oktober 2025. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. subjek penelitian adalah teks opini koran serambi indonesia edisi oktober 2025. data penelitian berupa kalimat-kalimat yang memenuhi ciri-ciri kalimat efektif dan kalimat tidak efektif yang terdapat dalam ketiga teks opini tersebut. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam teks opini koran serambi indonesia terdapat kalimat efektif dan kalimat tidak efektif. berdasarkan temuan ada 65 kalimat yang tidak memenuhi kriteria kalimat efektif dan 57 kalimat yang memenuhi kriteria kalimat efektif secara konsisten pada kelima aspek tersebut. kata kunci: kalimat efektif, tidak efektif, teks opini, serambi indonesia, analisis bahasa

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of sentences within opinion pieces published in the Serambi Indonesia newspaper in October 2025. It employs a qualitative approach and a descriptive research design. The subjects of the study are the opinion texts from the October 2025 edition of Serambi Indonesia. The data consist of sentences exhibiting the characteristics of either effective or ineffective sentence structures found within these texts. Data collection was carried out using the documentation method, and the data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results indicate the presence of both effective and ineffective sentences in the Serambi Indonesia opinion texts. Specifically, the findings reveal 65 sentences that failed to meet the criteria for effectiveness, while 57 sentences consistently met the criteria across all five relevant aspects.
