Elsa deli (2026). penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan video animasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa man 3 aceh selatan. kemampuan komunikasi matematis memegang peranan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis di sekolah salah satu solusi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan video animasi. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan video animasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear dan pertidaksamaan linear dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan video animasi di man 3 aceh selatan. penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen murni yaitu true-exsperimental design . populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas x man 3 aceh selatan, sedangkan sampel nya adalah kelas x-1 dengan jumlah 25 siswa dan kelas x-2 dengan jumlah 24 siswa. pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui pemberian tes sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. data penelitian dianalisis dengan uji t sampel independen pada taraf signifikan 5%. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah ditetrapkan pembelajaran dengan model pbl berbantuan video animasi dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan video animasi di man 3 aceh selatan. kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, video animasi, sistem persamaaan linear dan pertidaksamaan linear.

Abstract
ELSA DELI (2026). Application of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Animated Videos to Improve Mathematical Communication Skills of Students at MAN 3 South Aceh. Communication ability plays an important role in mathematics learning. To improve mathematical communication ability in schools, one solution is to implement problem-based learning assisted mathematical by animated videos. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of problem based learning model assisted by animated videos can improve students’ mathematical communication ability on the material of linear equation systems and linear inequalities compared to learning without using animated videos at MAN 3 South Aceh. This study used a pure experimental design, namely True-Experimental Design. The population in this study were all students of class X MAN 3 South Aceh, while the sample was class X-1 with a total of 25 students and class X-2 with a total of 24 students. Data collection was carried out through administering tests before and after learning. The research data were analyzed by independent sample t-test at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students’ mathematical communication ability after the implementation of learning with PBL model assisted by animated videos.
