Abstrak nazzra andrayani, (2026). analisis struktur gerak tari puteh karya novirela minang sari. skripsi universitas syiah kuala. dibawah bimbingan dra. tri supadmi, m.sn dan samsuri, s.pd., m.ed. penelitian ini berjudul “analisis struktur gerak tari puteh karya novirela minang sari”. permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana struktur gerak tari puteh karya novirela minang sari. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis struktur gerak tari puteh berdasarkan elemen-elemen gerak serta tata hubungan yang membangun keseluruhan bentuk tari. penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. subjek penelitian adalah novirela minang sari selaku koreografer tari puteh, sedangkan objek penelitian berupa struktur gerak tari puteh. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur gerak tari puteh dibangun oleh unsur sikap dan unsur gerak yang meliputi 17 unsur kepala, 21 unsur badan, 39 unsur tangan, dan 28 unsur kaki. dominannya penggunaan unsur tangan menunjukkan bahwa tangan menjadi media ekspresi utama dalam membangun karakter dan penyampaian makna tari. berdasarkan tata hubungan hierarkis gramatikal ditemukan 474 motif gerak, 82 frase gerak, 10 kalimat gerak, dan 5 gugus gerak yang tersusun secara bertingkat dari satuan terkecil hingga terbesar. struktur gerak tari puteh menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan yang sistematis antara motif, frase, kalimat, dan gugus gerak sehingga membentuk kesatuan tari yang utuh. selain itu, struktur gerak tari puteh juga memperlihatkan tata hubungan sintagmatis, paradigmatis, tumpang tindih, dan silih berganti yang saling mendukung dalam membangun rangkaian gerak. keseluruhan hubungan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tari puteh memiliki sistem pengorganisasian gerak yang teratur, saling berkaitan, dan membentuk struktur koreografi yang utuh dari awal hingga akhir pertunjukan. kata kunci: analisis struktur gerak, tari puteh, tata hubungan gerak.



Abstract

ABSTRACT Nazzra Andrayani, (2026). Analysis of the Movement Structure of the Puteh Dance by Novirela Minang Sari. Thesis, Syiah Kuala University. Supervised by Dra. Tri Supadmi, M.Sn, and Samsuri, S.Pd., M.Ed. This study is titled “Analysis of the Movement Structure of the Puteh Dance by Novirela Minang Sari.” The research problem is to examine the movement structure of the Puteh dance created by Novirela Minang Sari. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the movement structure of the Puteh dance based on its movement elements and the interrelationships that form the overall structure of the dance. The study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptiveanalytical method. The research subject is Novirela Minang Sari as the choreographer of the Puteh dance, while the research object is the movement structure of the Puteh dance. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the movement structure of the Puteh dance is composed of postural elements and movement elements, comprising 17 head elements, 21 body elements, 39 hand elements, and 28 foot elements. The predominant use of hand elements indicates that the hands serve as the primary medium of expression in shaping the character and conveying the meaning of the dance. Based on the hierarchical grammatical relationships, 474 movement motifs, 82 movement phrases, 10 movement sentences, and 5 movement clusters were identified, arranged in a hierarchical structure from the smallest to the largest units. The movement structure The Puteh dance demonstrates a systematic interconnection between motifs, phrases, sentences, and movement clusters, thereby forming a cohesive whole. Furthermore, the movement structure of the Puteh dance also exhibits syntagmatic, paradigmatic, overlapping, and alternating relationships that mutually support one another in constructing the sequence of movements. These relationships collectively demonstrate that Puteh dance possesses a systematic, interconnected organizational structure of movements that forms a cohesive choreographic framework from the beginning to the end of the performance.
