Abstrak motor control center (mcc) merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem kelistrikan industri yang berfungsi sebagai pusat pengendalian, pengoperasian, dan proteksi motor listrik agar proses produksi dapat berlangsung secara aman dan berkesinambungan. pada pt. solusi bangun andalas, mcc diterapkan untuk mengendalikan motor induksi tiga fasa penggerak belt conveyor yang berfungsi mengangkut material hasil crushing menuju reclaimer di area limestone substation dengan menggunakan metode direct on line (dol). pemilihan metode tersebut didasarkan pada kemampuannya memberikan torsi awal yang besar sehingga sesuai untuk menggerakkan beban conveyor yang bekerja secara kontinu. kegiatan magang ini bertujuan untuk memahami prinsip kerja sistem mcc dengan metode dol, mengidentifikasi fungsi setiap komponen pada panel mcc, serta menganalisis sistem pengendalian dan proteksi motor conveyor yang diterapkan di pt. solusi bangun andalas. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung di lapangan, wawancara dengan teknisi dan pembimbing lapangan, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap data teknis dan sistem pengendalian yang digunakan. hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem mcc pada motor belt conveyor berkapasitas 37 kw dengan arus nominal 70 a tersusun atas beberapa komponen utama, yaitu mccb, kontaktor, mcb, overload relay, current transformer (ct), current transducer, digital ammeter, relay bantu, serta motor induksi tiga fasa. seluruh komponen tersebut saling terintegrasi dalam menjalankan fungsi pengoperasian, pemantauan, dan proteksi terhadap gangguan seperti beban lebih maupun hubung singkat. penerapan metode direct on line (dol) pada sistem ini mampu mendukung proses pengangkutan material secara efektif, sementara koordinasi antarperangkat proteksi meningkatkan keandalan, keselamatan, dan kontinuitas operasi motor conveyor di lingkungan industri. kata kunci: motor control center (mcc), direct on line (dol), belt conveyor, motor induksi tiga fasa, sistem proteksi.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Motor Control Center (MCC) is an essential part of industrial electrical systems that functions as a central unit for controlling, operating, and protecting electric motors to ensure that production processes run safely and continuously. At PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas, MCC is implemented to control a three-phase induction motor that drives a belt conveyor, which functions to transport crushed material to the reclaimer in the Limestone Substation area using the Direct On Line (DOL) method. The selection of this method is based on its ability to provide high starting torque, making it suitable for driving conveyor loads that operate continuously. This internship activity aims to understand the working principle of the MCC system using the DOL method, identify the function of each component in the MCC panel, and analyze the control and protection system of the conveyor motor applied at PT. Solusi Bangun Andalas. Data collection was carried out through direct field observations, interviews with technicians and field supervisors, and documentation studies of technical data and control systems used. The results show that the MCC system for a belt conveyor motor with a capacity of 37 kW and a nominal current of 70 A consists of several main components, namely MCCB, contactor, MCB, overload relay, Current Transformer (CT), current transducer, digital ammeter, auxiliary relay, and a three-phase induction motor. All these components are integrated in performing operational, monitoring, and protection functions against disturbances such as overload and short circuit. The implementation of the Direct On Line (DOL) method in this system is able to support the material handling process effectively, while the coordination among protection devices improves the reliability, safety, and operational continuity of the conveyor motor in an industrial environment.
