Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan di kota banda aceh terutama di kecamatan meuraxa, telah meningkatkan mobilitas masyarakat tetapi juga menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan transportasi yang berkontribusi terhadap emisi karbon. oleh karena itu, diperlukan transisi menuju sistem transportasi berkelanjutan melalui penggunaan kendaraan listrik sebagai alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan. namun, tingkat penggunaan kendaraan listrik di banda aceh masih relatif rendah akibat keterbatasan infrastruktur serta tingginya ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap kendaraan berbahan bakar minyak. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi preferensi masyarakat kecamatan meuraxa dalam memilih moda transportasi sehari-hari serta menganalisis perubahan preferensi setelah diperkenalkannya kendaraan listrik. metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik revealed preference (rp) dan stated preference (sp) melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang ditentukan berdasarkan rumus slovin. data dianalisis menggunakan microsoft excel 2021 dan statamp/17 dengan metode regresi logit biner untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pemilihan moda transportasi. hasil penelitian berdasarkan data revealed preference secara deskriptif, mayoritas masyarakat masih bergantung pada kendaraan pribadi dengan persentase sebesar 98% dan kendaraan umum sebesar 2%. sementara itu, hasil analisis stated preference menggunakan statamp/17 menunjukkan bahwa minat terhadap penggunaan kendaraan listrik masih rendah. variabel yang memengaruhi kecenderungan peralihan ke kendaraan listrik meliputi jenis kelamin, persepsi negatif terhadap kerawanan kerusakan dan kesulitan pemasangan baterai. nilai probabilitas pemilihan moda berdasarkan data stated preference menunjukkan bahwa potensi penggunaan kendaraan listrik di masa mendatang masih rendah hanya sebesar 3%, dibandingkan dengan kendaraan pribadi konvensional sebesar 97%.

The increase in the number of vehicles in Banda Aceh particularly in the Meuraxa subdistrict has improved community mobility but has also caused various transportation problems that contribute to carbon emissions. Therefore, a transition to a sustainable transportation system is needed through the use of electric vehicles as a more environmentally friendly alternative. However, the rate of electric vehicle adoption in Banda Aceh remains relatively low due to infrastructure limitations and the public’s high dependence on fossil-fueled vehicles. This study aims to identify the transportation preferences of residents in Meuraxa District for their daily commutes and to analyze changes in these preferences following the introduction of electric vehicles. The method used is a quantitative approach employing Revealed Preference (RP) and Stated Preference (SP) techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents selected based on the Slovin formula. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2021 and StataMP/17 using the binary logit regression method to identify the factors influencing the choice of transportation mode. Based on a descriptive analysis of revealed preference data, the majority of the public still relies on private vehicles 98% and public transportation 2%. Meanwhile, the results of a stated preference analysis using StataMP/17 indicate that interest in using electric vehicles remains low. Variables influencing the tendency to switch to electric vehicles include gender, negative perceptions regarding the risk of damage, and difficulties in installing batteries. The probability of mode choice based on stated preference data indicates that the potential for future electric vehicle use remains low at only 3%, compared to 97% for conventional private vehicles.
