Abstract this study aims to examine the influence of job stress and perceived organizational support on turnover intention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among generation z employees in the food and beverage (f&b) industry in banda aceh. this research uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are generation z employees working in the f&b industry in banda aceh. the data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling–partial least squares (sem-pls) method with smartpls software. the results show that job stress has a significant positive effect on turnover intention and a negative effect on job satisfaction. perceived organizational support has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and a negative effect on turnover intention. in addition, job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and mediates the relationship between job stress and perceived organizational support on turnover intention. these findings indicate that reducing job stress and increasing organizational support can improve job satisfaction and reduce employees’ intention to leave the organization. keywords: job stress, perceived organizational support, job satisfaction, turnover intention.
