Mala Hayati, HUBUNGAN BIOMARKER INFLAMASI HEMATOLOGI TERHADAP DERAJAT ENDOMETRIOSIS DAN NYERI PELVIK PADA PASIEN KISTA ENDOMETRIOSIS. Banda Aceh Fakultas Kedokteran (S2),2026

Abstract

Background: Endometriosis is a chronic gynecological disease affecting 6–10% of reproductive-age women, characterized by ectopic endometrial tissue growth and driven by chronic systemic inflammation. Hematological inflammatory biomarkers — neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), and monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR) — are low-cost, routinely available indices that may serve as non-invasive alternatives to laparoscopy for pre-operative assessment. Objective: To evaluate the association of NLR, PLR, SII, and MLR with endometriosis stage (rASRM) and pelvic pain intensity (Numeric Rating Scale/NRS) in patients with endometriosis cyst. Methods: A cross-sectional analytic study involving 57 histopathologically confirmed endometriosis patients who underwent laparoscopy or laparotomy at RSUD Dr. Zainoel Abidin, Banda Aceh (February 2025–January 2026). Biomarkers were calculated from pre-operative complete blood count and analyzed using Spearman correlation and ROC curve analysis. Results: NLR (r=0.460; p
