Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media interaktif pear deck dalam pembelajaran sejarah serta melihat peningkatannya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas xi ipa sma negeri 2 lhoknga. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk). adapun yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi ipa sma negeri 2 lhoknga yang berjumlah 21 siswa. data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan angket motivasi belajar. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pear deck dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. pada siklus i, motivasi belajar siswa mencapai 71,7% dengan kategori sedang. setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus ii, motivasi siswa meningkat menjadi 80,8%, termasuk kategori tinggi. hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif pear deck dapat meningkatkan motvasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas xi ipa negeri 2 lhoknga. kata kunci: pear deck, motivasi belajar, pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of the Pear Deck interactive media in History learning and to analyze its effect on improving the learning motivation of Grade XI Science students at SMA Negeri 2 Lhoknga. This research employs a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were all 21 students of Grade XI Science at SMA Negeri 2 Lhoknga. Data were collected through observation sheets and learning motivation questionnaires. The results indicate that the use of Pear Deck media can enhance students’ learning motivation. In Cycle I, students’ learning motivation reached 71.7%, which was categorized as moderate. After improvements were made in Cycle II, students’ motivation increased to 80.8%, which fell into the high category. These findings demonstrate that the use of Pear Deck interactive media can improve students’ motivation to learn History among Grade XI Science students at SMA Negeri 2 Lhoknga.
