[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dewi andayani, s.pd., m.pd., dan dr. muhibbuddin, m.s. media pembelajaran pop-up book diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran biologi karena dipandang potensial serta mampu menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang menarik secara visual dan kinestetik. pop-up book sebagai media pembelajaran dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep yang sulit di mengerti melalui tampilan tiga dimensi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami. oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada topik klasifikasi makhluk hidup. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. subjek penelitian terdiri atas 60 siswa kelas vii smpn 4 banda aceh. instrumen penelitian meliputi pop-up book, lembar validasi ahli serta lembar tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik. hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan bahwa media pop-up book termasuk dalam kategori ‘’sangat layak’’ dengan persentase kelayakan 92% dan 90,7% untuk aspek materi. sedangkan hasil uji non-parametrik mann-whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,039 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. dengan demikian, pop-up book terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. kata kunci: biologi, hasil belajar, media pembelajaran, tiga dimensi, pop-up book.

Khairunnisa. (2025). The Effect of Using Pop-up Book Media in Biodiversity Material on the Learning Outcomes of Class VII Students at SMPN 4 Banda Aceh. [Thesis. Syiah Kuala University]. Under the guidance of Dewi Andayani, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Dr. Muhibbuddin, M.S. Pop-up book learning media is integrated into biology learning because it is seen as having potential and being able to provide an interesting learning experience visually and kinesthetically. Pop-up books as a learning medium can help students understand concepts that are difficult to understand through a three-dimensional display that is attractive and easy to understand. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of using pop-up book media on student learning outcomes on the topic of classification of living things. The method used in this research is quantitative with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 60 class VII students at SMPN 4 Banda Aceh. Research instruments include pop-up books, expert validation sheets and test sheets to measure student learning outcomes. Media expert validation results show that pop-up book media is included in the "Very Feasible" category with an appropriateness percentage of 92% and 90.7% for the material aspect. Meanwhile, the results of the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test show a significance value of 0.039, which means that there is an influence of the use of pop-up book media on student learning outcomes. Thus, pop-up books have been proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Biology, learning outcomes, learning media, three dimensions, pop-up books.
