[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan nurbaity, s.pd., m.ed dan khairiah s.pd., m.ed . persepsi merupakan hasil pengamatan seseorang terhadap sesuatu hal yang ada di lingkungan sekitar melalui panca indera. persepsi diperoleh dengan cara meringkas informasi dari seseorang dan menafsirkan informasi tersebut, sehingga seseorang itu dapat memberikan tanggapan mengenai baik buruknya atau positif negatifnya informasi tersebut. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi siswa terhadap guru dalam upaya pembinaan karakter sosial di sekolah. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. populasi penelitian ini adalah smk negeri 1 al-mubarkeya. sampel sebanyak 113 smk negeri 1 al-mubarkeya yang dipilih melalui teknik random sampling. data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala persepsi berbentuk model skala likert modifikasi, lalu dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran tingkat persepsi pada siswa smk negeri 1 al- mubarkeya sebagian besar berada pada kategori sedang, yaitu sebanyak 81 siswa (72%). artinya, sebagian besar siswa memiliki persepsi yang cukup baik terhadap peran guru bk dalam membimbing dan membentuk karakter sosial mereka. kata kunci : persepsi, karakter sosial, guru bk, siswa

Under the supervision of Nurbaity, S.Pd., M.Ed and Khairiah S.Pd., M.Ed. Perception is the result of someone's observation of something in their surrounding environment through the five senses. Perception is obtained by summarizing information from someone and interpreting that information, so that the person can respond regarding the quality, whether good or bad, or the positivity or negativity of that information. This study aims to find out the description of students' perceptions of teachers in efforts to develop social character in schools. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population of this study is the State Vocational School 1 Al-Mubarkeya. A sample of 113 students from State Vocational School 1 Al-Mubarkeya was selected using Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using a perception scale in the form of a modified Likert scale, and then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the majority of students' perceptions at State Vocational School 1 Al-Mubarkeya fall into the moderate category, with 81 students (72%). This means that most students have a relatively good perception of the role of the guidance and counseling teacher in guiding and shaping their social character.
