Abstrak penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self esteem terhadap happiness, yang dimediasi oleh career adaptability dan career construction behavior pada perawat rumah sakit ibu dan anak pemerintah aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode partial least squares-structural equation modeling (pls-sem) melalui perangkat lunak smartpls 4. populasi penelitian adalah 147 perawat, dengan sampel sebanyak 108 responden yang diperoleh karena hanya 108 responden yang kembali mengisi kuesioner sesuai dengan tingkat respons rate sebesar 73,47%. data dikumpulkan dengan memberikan kuesioner secara langsung kepada perawat. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self esteem berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap happiness, career adaptability, dan career construction behavior. career adaptability dan career construction behavior juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap happiness. selain itu, career adaptability dan career construction behavior memediasi pengaruh self esteem terhadap happiness secara parsial. dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan self esteem, career adaptability, dan career construction behavior sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan perawat melalui program pengembangan diri serta dukungan dalam bidang karir. kata kunci :self esteem, happiness, career adaptability, career construction behavior.

Abstract
ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine the effect of Self Esteem on Happiness, mediated by Career Adaptability and Career Construction Behavior among nurses at the Aceh Government Mother and Child Hospital. This study used a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through SmartPLS 4 software. The study population consisted of 147 nurses, with a sample of 108 respondents obtained because only 108 respondents returned the questionnaire, with a response rate of 73.47%. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires directly to nurses. The results showed that Self Esteem had a positive and significant effect on Happiness, Career Adaptability, and Career Construction Behavior. Career Adaptability and Career Construction Behavior also had a positive and significant effect on Happiness. In addition, Career Adaptability and Career Construction Behavior partially mediate the effect of Self Esteem on Happiness. Thus, it can be concluded that increasing Self Esteem, Career Adaptability, and Career Construction Behavior is very important for improving the Happiness of nurses through Self Development programs and Career Support.
