[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. di bawah bimbingan novia zalmita, s.pd., m.pd. dan mice putri afriyani, s.pd., m.sc. permasalahan utama dalam pembelajaran geografi di sma negeri 1 baitussalam adalah rendahnya keaktifan siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan, mengemukakan pendapat, serta menggali informasi secara mandiri. proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi oleh metode satu arah menyebabkan hasil belajar dan pemahaman konsep geografi belum berkembang secara optimal. salah satu model yang dapat diterapkan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing, yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam menyusun dan menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan permasalahan yang dipelajari. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas xi sma negeri 1 baitussalam. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group design. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi sma negeri 1 baitussalam, dengan sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas xi-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas xi-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda yang diberikan dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest. data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji anova untuk kemampuan awal, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas xi sma negeri 1 baitussalam. kata kunci: problem posing, hasil belajar, pembelajaran geografi.

The main problem in geography learning at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam is the low level of student activeness in asking questions, expressing opinions, and independently exploring information. The learning process is still dominated by one-way methods, resulting in underdevelopment of learning outcomes and understanding of geographic concepts. One model that can be applied is the Problem Posing learning model, which emphasizes active student involvement in formulating and answering questions based on the problems being studied. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Posing learning model on geography learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type using a nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam, with samples selected using purposive sampling technique, namely class XI-1 as the experimental class and class XI-2 as the control class. The data collection technique was carried out through learning outcome tests in the form of multiple choice questions given in the form of pretest and posttest. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA test for initial ability, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using t-test. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the Problem Posing learning model on the geography learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam.
