Kecerdasan spasial adalah kemampuan untuk memahami, dan berpikir dalam bentuk visual dan ruang. kecerdasan spasial sangat penting dalam pembelajaran geografi, karena melibatkan cara berpikir yang kompleks dalam memahami fenomena geografi, model dan teknologi pembelajaran yang tepat dibutuhkan agar kecerdasan spasial siswa bisa meningkat. salah satu model pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan adalah model problem based learning berbantuan media 3d interactive globe. terdapat indikasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spasial siswa kelas xi sma negeri 1 takengon cenderung masih rendah. oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan kajian lebih dalam. berdasarkan masalah tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kecerdasan spasial siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media 3d interactive globe, mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa, mengetahui keterampilan guru, dan mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media 3d interactive globe dapat meningkatan kecerdasan spasial siswa serta mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa. kata kunci: problem based learning, 3d interactive globe, kecerdasan spasial



Abstract

Spatial thinking is the ability to understand and think in visual and spatial forms. Spatial thinking is very important in geography learning, because it involves complex ways of thinking in understanding geographic phenomena, appropriate learning models and technologies are needed so that students' spatial thinking can be improved. One learning model that can be used is the problem-based learning model assisted by 3D interactive globe media. There are indications that show that the spatial thinking of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Takengon tends to be low. Therefore, a deeper study is needed. Based on this problem, this study aims to determine the increase in students' spatial thinking through the application of problem-based learning models assisted by 3D interactive globe media, to determine teacher and student activities, to determine teacher skills, and to determine how students respond during the learning process. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The results of the study indicate that the application of problem-based learning models assisted by 3D interactive globe media can improve students' spatial thinking and get a positive response from students.
