Nuraini sa’diah br matondang (2025). penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt) terhadap hasil belajar ipas di kelas iv sd negeri 29 banda aceh. pada pendidikan dasar terdapat berbagai mata pelajaran, salah satu yang sangat penting untuk dipelajari adalah mata pelajaran ipas khususnya ips. berdasarkan observasi awal peneliti di sdn 29 banda aceh menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar ips siswa masih rendah. rendahnya hasil belajar ips siswa terlihat dari jawaban pertanyaan yang diberikan langsung oleh guru saat proses pembelajaran, terdapat pertanyaan tertulis yang diberikan oleh guru kepada siswa. beberapa siswa mendapatkan nilai 60 hingga 65, termasuk belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (kkm) yaitu 70. hal ini disebabkan karena siswa belum terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa yang memiliki kemampuan lebih yang mendominasi kegiatan pembelajaran, kurangnya minat siswa dalam belajar, siswa kurang percaya diri dengan jawabannya sendiri, dan ada beberapa guru menerapkan model mengajar konvensional dalam mengajarkan ips. salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan agar menambah keaktifan siswa secara mandiri maupun berkelompok yaitu model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt). tgt merupakan model pembelajaran yang membentuk sebuah kelompok belajar dan selanjutnya kelompok tersebut akan saling berkompetisi. dengan model seperti ini akan mampu merangsang peserta didik untuk aktif. rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu “bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt) terhadap hasil belajar ipas di kelas iv sdn 29 banda aceh?”, bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt) terhadap hasil belajar ipas di kelas iv sdn 29 banda aceh. adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt) terhadap hasil belajar ipas di kelas iv sdn 29 banda aceh sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan berhasil, berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dapat disimpulkan kelima komponen tgt saat proses pembelajaran yaitu presentasi kelas, tim, game, tournament, dan penghargaan bagi setiap kelompok sudah tercapai. selain itu, tercapainya penelitian ini juga dapat dilihat dari permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas iva ketika observasi awal peneliti yang dapat teratasi. kata kunci: model pembelajaran teams games tournament (tgt), pembelajaran ips, hasil belajar siswa

Abstract
Nuraini Sa’diah Br Matondang (2025). Implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model on Natural and Social Science Learning Outcomes in Class IV of SD Negeri 29 Banda Aceh. In elementary education there are various subjects, one of which is very important to learn is the subject of Natural and Social Sciences, especially Social Studies. Based on the initial observations of researchers at SDN 29 Banda Aceh, it shows that students' social studies learning outcomes are still low. The low social studies learning outcomes of students are seen from the answers to questions given directly by the teacher during the learning process, there are written questions given by the teacher to students. Some students get scores of 60 to 65, including not reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 70. This is because students are not actively involved in the learning process, students who have more abilities dominate learning activities, lack of student interest in learning, students lack confidence in their own answers, and some teachers apply conventional teaching models in teaching social studies. One learning model that can be applied to increase student activity independently or in groups is the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. TGT is a learning model that forms a study group and then the group will compete with each other. With a model like this, it will be able to stimulate students to be active. The formulation of the problem in this study is "how is the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to the Learning Outcomes of Science in Grade IV of SDN 29 Banda Aceh?", aims to determine the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to the Learning Outcomes of Science in Grade IV of SDN 29 Banda Aceh. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to the Learning Outcomes of Science in Grade IV of SDN 29 Banda Aceh has been implemented well and successfully, based on the results of observations and interviews it can be concluded that the five components of TGT during the learning process, namely class presentations, teams, games, tournaments, and awards for each group have been achieved. In addition, the achievement of this research can also be seen from the problems that occurred in class IVA during the researcher's initial observations that can be resolved.
