[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. khairul umam, s.si., m.a.edsc. dan dr. dwi fadhiliani, s.pd., m.mat. hasil belajar adalah kemampuan yang diperoleh siswa setelah proses pembelajaran, yang pencapaiannya dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan belajar siswa dan ketepatan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. namun, kenyataannya menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (ctl) pada pembelajaran matematika kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh mencapai ketuntasan. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design dengan jenis desain one-shot study. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh dengan mengambil sampel satu kelas yaitu kelas viii-7. instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes berbentuk uraian yang bertujuan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa melalui pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (ctl) pada pembelajaran matematika kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh mencapai ketuntasan. pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (ctl) dapat dijadikan pilihan dalam mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. kata kunci: contextual teaching and learning (ctl), hasil belajar

Abstract
ABSTRACT Helna Amelia Lubis. (2026). Students’ Learning Outcomes through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on Mathematics Learning in Class VIII SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. [Skripsi. Syiah Kuala University]. Under Direction of Dr. Khairul Umam, S.Si., M.A.EdSc. and Dr. Dwi Fadhiliani, S.Pd., M.Mat. Learning outcomes are the abilities acquired by students after the learning process, the achievement of which is influenced by the students' learning abilities and the appropriateness of the learning approach used by the teacher. However, in reality, students’ learning outcomes remain low. This study aims to determine whether students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on mathematics Learning in Class VIII SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh achieve mastery learning. This study employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Shot Case Study design. The population consisted of all Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh, with one class selected as the sample, namely class VIII-7. The research instrument was a set of essay-based test questions designed to measure students’ learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. Based on the data analysis, it was found that students’ learning outcomes through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in Grade VIII mathematics at SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh achieved mastery learning. Thus, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach can be considered an effective option for improving students’ learning mastery.
