[skripsi sarjana, universitas syiah kuala]. di bawah bimbingan dr. intan safiah, s.ag., m.pd. dan mislinawati, s.pd.i, m.pd. penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tidak semua siswa memiliki kemampuan hafalan dalam pembelajaran tahfidz di sd islam al azhar cairo banda aceh. beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan mengingat dan mempertahankan hafalan karena kurangnya bimbingan terstruktur di rumah dan keterbatasan waktu di sekolah. untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diterapkan metode pakistani yang menekankan tiga tahapan utama, yaitu sabaq (hafalan baru), sabqi (pengulangan hafalan baru), dan manzil (murajaah hafalan lama). tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran tahfidz menggunakan metode pakistani serta mengetahui kemampuan hafalan siswa setelah penerapannya. penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek delapan siswa kelas v dan satu guru tahfidz. data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes hafalan yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran tahfidz menggunakan metode pakistani tergolong baik, dengan rata-rata ketercapaian antara 70–80%. berdasarkan hasil tes hafalan, sebanyak 92% siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (kkm) 70 dengan mayoritas berada pada kategori mumtaz (sangat baik). metode pakistani terbukti efektif meningkatkan kualitas hafalan siswa, terutama dari segi kelancaran bacaan, ketepatan tajwid, dan kemampuan mempertahankan hafalan lama. disimpulkan bahwa metode pakistani merupakan strategi pembelajaran tahfidz yang sistematis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan mutu hafalan siswa sekolah dasar. metode ini dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tahfidz agar hasil hafalan lebih kuat, teratur, dan berkelanjutan. kata kunci: metode pakistani, tahfidz al-qur’an, pembelajaran, hafalan siswa



Abstract

ABSTRACT Arfi Falaki Samba (2025). Implementation Of The Pakistani Method In Tahfidz Learning For Grade V Students At Al-Azhar Cairo Islamic Elementary School Banda Aceh. [Undergraduate Thesis, Syiah Kuala University]. Under the supervision of Dr. Intan Safiah, S.Ag., M.Pd., and Mislinawati, S.PdI, M.Pd This study was motivated by the low memorization ability of students in tahfidz learning at Al Azhar Cairo Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh. Some students had difficulty remembering and retaining what they had memorized due to a lack of variety in methods and a lack of structured repetition. To overcome this, the Pakistani method was applied, which emphasizes three main stages, namely sabaq (new memorization), sabqi (repetition of new memorization), and manzil (murajaah of old memorization). The purpose of this study was to describe student activities in tahfidz learning using the Pakistani method and to determine students' memorization abilities after its application. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with eight fifth-grade students and one tahfidz teacher as subjects. Data were collected through observation of learning activities and memorization tests, which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that student activities in tahfidz learning using the Pakistani method were relatively good, with an average achievement of 70–80%. Based on the memorization test results, 92% of students achieved the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM) of 70, with the majority in the Mumtaz (very good) category. The Pakistani method proved to be effective in improving the quality of students' memorization, especially in terms of reading fluency, tajwid accuracy, and the ability to retain long-term memorization. It was concluded that the Pakistani method is a systematic and effective tahfidz learning strategy to improve . Keywords: Pakistani method, Al-Qur'an memorization, learning, student memori
