[skripsi, program studi bimbingan dan konseling, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, universitas syiah kuala]. dosen pembimbing i:drs. martunis, m.si.; dosen pembimbing ii: fitra marsela, s.pd., m.pd. penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran kepedulian orang tua dengan siswa smp di kecamatan mesjid raya kabupaten aceh besar, (2) untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi siswa smp di kecamtan mesjid raya kabupaten aceh besar, (3) untuk mengetahui hubungan kepedulian orang tua dengan resiliensi siswa smp di kecamatan mesjid raya kabupaten aceh besar. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa smp negeri 1, 2, dan 3 kecamatan mesjid raya kabupaten aceh besar yang berjumlah 721 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 257 siswa, dan penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik pro portional stratified random sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu skala kepedulian orang tua dan skala resiliensi yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi pearson. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepedulian orang tua berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 60%, hal ini dicirikan dari kedua aspek yang di analisis yaitu responsivenes dan demandingness. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua dinilai cukup konsisten dalam memberikan perhatian dan dukungan emosional, meskipun belum sepenuhnya terpenuhi. sementara itu, tingkat resiliensi siswa berada pada kategori sedang 69%. hal demikian dicirikan sesuai dengan aspek yang di analisis, ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan resiliensi yang cukup baik di tandai dengan kemampuan untuk bangkit dari kesulitan, mengelola emosi, serta beradaptasi dalam menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan sosial. hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,642 yang menurut kriteria interpretasi korelasi termasuk dalam kategori kuat, yang menandakan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepedulian orang tua dengan resiliensi siswa. kata kunci: kepedulian orang tua, resiliensi, siswa smp

This study aims to (1) find out the picture of parents' concern for junior high school students in Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency, (2) to find out the picture of resilience of junior high school students in Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency, (3) to find out the relationship between parental concern and the resilience of junior high school students in Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive method. The population in this study is all students of SMP Negeri 1, 2, and 3 of Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency which totals 721 students, with a sample of 257 students, and the determination of samples is carried out by proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using two instruments, namely the parental concern scale and the resilience scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistical test and Pearson correlation test. The results of the study show that the level of parental concern is in the medium category of 60%, this is characterized by the two aspects analyzed, namely responsiveness and demandingness. This shows that most parents are considered quite consistent in providing emotional attention and support, even though they have not been fully fulfilled. Meanwhile, the student resilience level is in the medium category of 69%. This is characterized according to the aspects analyzed, this shows that students have a fairly good resilience ability characterized by the ability to rise from difficulties, manage emotions, and adapt in facing challenges in the social environment. The results of the correlation test showed a coefficient value of 0.642 which according to the correlation interpretation criteria was included in the strong category, which indicates a positive and significant relationship between parental concern and student resilience. This means that the higher the parental concern, the higher the level of student resilience. Thus, parental concern plays an important role in shaping the psychological resilience of junior high school students in Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency, especially in facing personal and social challenges.
