Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang analisis perubahan curah hujan di kabupaten pidie. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis rata-rata, tren curah hujan dan menganalisis hubungan antara curah hujan dan indian ocean dipole (iod) di wilayah pesisir kabupaten pidie. penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan data curah hujan dari climate hazards group infrared precipitation with station data (chirps) dan data iod dari nino index dari national oceanic and atmospheric administration (noaa). hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pesisir kabupaten pidie memiliki pola curah hujan ekuatorial, pola curah hujan tersebut memiliki korelasi rendah terhadap indeks perubahan iklim iod. puncak curah hujan tertinggi terjadi pada bulan januari dengan intensitas 288 mm dan yang terendah terjadi pada bulan juli dengan intensitas 109 mm. analisis korelasi curah hujan dan iod menunjukkan koefisien determinasi r2=-0.0014, korelasi r=-0.0377 dan p=0.387917. hasil regresi linear menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan linier yang kuat antara nilai iod dan curah hujan di pesisir kabupaten pidie, meskipun ada sedikit indikasi hubungan negatif, hubungan ini sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik. kata kunci : curah hujan, iod, chirps, pesisir pidie, noaa.



Abstract

A study on rainfall change analysis has been conducted in Pidie Regency. The objective of this research was to analyze the average rainfall, rainfall trends, and the relationship between rainfall and the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) in the coastal area of Pidie. This study utilized rainfall data from the Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station data (CHIRPS) and IOD data from the Nino Index provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The results indicate that the coastal area of Pidie exhibits an equatorial rainfall pattern, which shows a low correlation with the IOD climate variability index. The highest rainfall peak occurs in January with 288 mm, while the lowest occurs in July with 109 mm. Correlation analysis between rainfall and IOD shows a determination coefficient R = -0.0014, correlation coefficient r = -0.0377, and p-value of 0.387917. Linear regression analysis reveals no strong linear relationship between IOD values and rainfall in the coastal area of Pidie. Although there is a slight indication of a negative relationship, it is very weak and not statistically significantm perubahan curah hujan di kabupaten Pidie.
