Pukat pantai merupakan alat penangkapan ikan yang masih tergolong tradisional. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan dan pengaruh panjang jaring pukat pantai terhadap hasil tangkapan di desa ruyung, kecamatan mesjid raya, kabupaten aceh besar. penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan di mulai januari-maret 2025. pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu data primer yang meliputi jenis, biomassa, dan jumlah hasil tangkapan dari ketiga ukuran jaring pukat pantai, yaitu 300 m, 360 m dan 400 m. analisis data menggunakan rumus proporsi untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan, uji analisis rancangan acak kelompok untuk menguji pengaruh panjang jaring terhadap hasil tangkapan. hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa komposisi hasil tangkapan pukat pantai berdasarkan jenis di ruyung terdiri dari ikan baracuda (tylosurus crocodilus), ikan kembung (rastrelliger faughni), ikan tamban (sardinella gibbosa), ikan kurisi (nemipterus furcosus), cumi-cumi (loligo sp), ikan kuwe lilin (caranx tille), ikan selar bentong (selar crumenophthalmus), ikan kuwe macan (carangoides fulvoguttatus). ikan yang paling banyak tertangkap pada pukat pantai di desa ruyung dengan ukuran panjang jaring 300 m adalah ikan kuwe macan (carangoides fulvoguttatus) 12,7 kg (19,2%) 385 ekor (19,9%), dengan ukuran panjang jaring 360 m adalah ikan kembung (rastrelliger faughni) 21,1 kg (18,2%) 260 ekor (13,4%) dan ukuran pukat pantai 400 m ikan yang paling banyak tertangkap adalah ikan kembung (rastrelliger faughni) 12,0 kg (11,9%) 133 ekor (5,4%). berdasarkan hasil analisis rancangan acak kelompok dapat diketahui bahwa panjang jaring tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil tangkapan pukat pantai di ruyung. kata kunci: pukat pantai, komposisi hasil tangkapan, pengaruh panjang jaring pukat pantai.

Beach seine is a fishing gear that is still considered traditional. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of the caught and the effect of the length of the beach seine in the Ruyung Village, Mesjid Raya, Great Aceh District. The study was conducted for 3 months from January to March 2025. Data collection carried out was primary data including the species, biomass, and number of caught fish from three sizes of beach seine, namely 300 m, 360 m and 400 m. Data analysis used a proportion formula to determine the composition of the catch, a Randomized Block Design Analysis test to test the effect of length on the caught fish. The results of the study explain that the composition of the beach seine caught fish based on species in Ruyung Village consists of Hound needlefish (Tylosurus crocodilus), Island Mackerel (Rastrelliger faughni), Goldstripe Sardinella (Sardinella gibbosa), Rosy Threadfin Bream (Nemipterus furcosus), Loligo squid (Loligo Sp), Tille Trevally (Caranx tille), Bigeye Scad (Selar crumenophthalmus), Yellowspotted Trevally (Carangoides fulvoguttatus). The fish most caught in the beach seine with a length net of 300 m is Tiger Trout (Carangoides fulvoguttatus) as much as 12.7 kg (19.2%) and a total of 385 fish (19.9%). With a length net of 360 m is Mackerel Fish (Rastrelliger faughni) as much as 21.1 kg (18.2%) and a total of 260 fish (13.4%). From the 400-meter beach seine, the most commonly caught fish was mackerel (Rastrelliger faughni), weighing 12.0 kg (11.9%) and containing 133 individuals (5.4%). Based on the results of the Randomized Block Design analysis, it was found that length net had no significant effect on beach seine catches in Ruyung.
