Prarancangan pabrik vinyl chloride monomer (vcm) ini menggunakan ethylene dichloride (edc) sebagai bahan baku. kapasitas produksi pabrik vcm ini adalah 150.000 ton/tahun dengan hari kerja 330 hari/tahun. perseroan terbatas (pt) adalah bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan struktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 146 orang. lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di cilegon, provinsi banten dengan luas tanah sebesar 10.487 m2. kebutuhan air untuk pabrik ini sebesar 786.966,32 kg/jam yang diperoleh dari sungai cidanau, cilegon. sumber listrik diperoleh dari generator dengan sumber daya 1.842,8 kw. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. total capital investment (tci) = rp1.207.087.732.635,44 2. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp1.026.024.572.740,13 3. working capital investment (wci) = rp181.063.159.895,32 4. total product cost (tpc) = rp10.137.793.371.340,60 5. sales = rp10.661.960.122.053,90 6. laba bersih = rp408.850.065.556,34 7. return on investment (roi) = 39,85% 8. pay out time (pot) = 2 tahun 9. break even point (bep) = 48,02% 10. shutdown point (sdp) = 44,48% 11. internal rate of return (irr) = 28,22%

This vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant proposal uses ethylene dichloride (EDC) as raw material. The production capacity of the VCM plant is 150.000 tons/year with 330 working days/year. Limited Liability Company (PT) is a form of company that is planned using a line and staff structure. Labor requirements to run this company 146 people. The factory location is planned to be established in Cilegon, Banten Province with a land area of 10,487 m2. The water requirement for this factory is 786.966,32 kg/hour which is obtained from the Cidanau river, Cilegon. The electricity source is obtained from a generator with a power source of 1.842,8 kW.
