Abstract
This study aims to identify the species of fish landed, determine their conservation status, and describe the economic value of fish landed at the Lambada Lhok Fish Landing Base (PPI) in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The research method used was a descriptive survey through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted for one month from May to June 2025, with primary data collected through interviews with fishermen and fish traders, and secondary data obtained from literature sources such as IUCN, CITES, and Ministerial Decree No. 1/KEPMEN-KP/2021. The results showed that 33 fish species were identified, belonging to 9 orders and 19 families, with Perciformes being the dominant order. Based on IUCN Red List, 85% of species were categorized as Least Concern (LC), 9% as Data Deficient (DD), 3% as Near Threatened (NT), 3% as Endangered (EN), and 3% as Critically Endangered (CR). According to CITES, only one species, Sphyrna lewini (scalloped hammerhead shark), was listed in Appendix II. In terms of economic value, fish from the Serranidae family had the highest market price (Rp 85,000–Rp 100,000/kg), while fish from the Cynoglossidae family had the lowest price (Rp 10,000–Rp 20,000/kg). The findings of this study are expected to serve as baseline data for sustainable fisheries management and species conservation efforts at PPI Lambada Lhok.
