Prarancangan pabrik hidrogen ini direncanakan memanfaatkan batubara sebagai bahan baku melalui proses gasifikasi untuk menghasilkan hidrogen dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 30.000 ton per tahun. pabrik akan berlokasi di sangatta, kalimantan timur, yang dipilih karena kedekatannya dengan sumber batubara dari pt kaltim prima coal (pt kpc), sehingga menjamin ketersediaan bahan baku dan efisiensi transportasi. operasi pabrik dirancang berlangsung selama 330 hari kerja per tahun dengan sistem kerja 24 jam per hari. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseroan terbatas (pt) dengan struktur organisasi garis dan staf, serta memerlukan sekitar 133 tenaga kerja untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional. berdasarkan hasil analisis ekonomi, proyek ini dinilai layak untuk direalisasikan dan berpotensi memberikan nilai tambah terhadap pemanfaatan sumber daya batubara lokal. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) 2. working capital investment (wci) 3. total capital investment (tci) 4. total production cost (tpc) 5. revenue 6. laba bersih 7. pay out time (pot) 8. break event point (bep) 9. internal rate of return (irr) = rp 2.507.565.401.131 = rp 626.891.350.283 = rp 3.134.456.751.414 = rp 2.600.543.706.482 = rp 4.420.622.628.446 = rp 1.365.059.191.472 = 4,27 tahun = 22,10% = 25% berdasarkan studi kelayakan teknis dan ekonomis di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa prarancangan pabrik hidrogen ini layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap konstruksi.



Abstract

The preliminary design of this hydrogen plant is planned to utilize coal as the raw material through a gasification process to produce hydrogen with a production capacity of 30,000 tons per year. The plant will be located in Sangatta, East Kalimantan, which was selected due to its proximity to the coal supply source from PT Kaltim Prima Coal (PT KPC), ensuring raw material availability and transportation efficiency. The plant is designed to operate for 330 working days per year on a continuous 24-hour basis. The proposed business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational structure, requiring approximately 133 employees to support plant operations. Based on the economic analysis, the project is considered feasible to be realized and is expected to add value to the utilization of local coal resources. The results of the economic analysis are as follows: 1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) 2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) 3. Total Capital Investment (TCI) 4. Total Production Cost (TPC) 5. Revenue 6. Net Profit 7. Pay Out Time (POT) 8. Break Event Point (BEP) 9. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = Rp 2.507.565.401.131 = Rp 626.891.350.283 = Rp 3.134.456.751.414 = Rp 2.600.543.706.482 = Rp 4.420.622.628.446 = Rp 1.365.059.191.472 = 4,27 years = 22,10% = 25% Based on the results of the technical and economic feasibility study, it can be concluded that the preliminary design of this hydrogen plant is feasible to proceed to the construction stage.
