Ketersediaan mineral zinc (zn) dalam pakan ruminansia memiliki peran penting dalam proses metabolisme, kesehatan, dan produktivitas ternak. namun, penyerapan mineral zinc pada pakan konvensional seringkali kurang efisien karena keterbatasan bioavailabilitasnya. oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian nano zinc berbasis daun kelor sebagai feed additive terhadap kadar mineral zinc (zn) pada susu kambing peranakan etawa (pe). nano zinc disintesis menggunakan metode green synthesis dengan ekstrak daun kelor sebagai agen pereduksi alami yang ramah lingkungan. penelitian dilaksanakan di cv. kutaraja jaya farm pada bulan april - juli 2025. rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (rak) dengan 5 perlakuan, yaitu p0 (tanpa nano zinc), p1 (10 ppm), p2 (20 ppm), p3 (30 ppm), dan p4 (40 ppm), serta tiga kelompok berdasarkan periode laktasi. ukuran partikel nano zinc dianalisis menggunakan particle size analyzer (psa), sedangkan kadar zinc dalam susu diukur dengan atomic absorption spectrophotometer (aas). hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa partikel yang dihasilkan berukuran rata-rata 43 nm, membuktikan bahwa zinc berhasil terbentuk dalam skala nano. pemberian nano zinc berbasis daun kelor tidak berpengaruh nyata (p>0,05) terhadap kadar zinc dalam susu kambing pe, namun terdapat kecenderungan peningkatan kadar zinc pada perlakuan p2 (20 ppm) dengan nilai tertinggi 11,95 ppm. kesimpulannya, pemberian nano zinc berbasis daun kelor berpotensi meningkatkan kadar zinc pada susu kambing pe meskipun belum menunjukkan pengaruh nyata secara statistik. disarankan penelitian lanjutan dilakukan dengan durasi pemberian lebih lama.

Abstract
The availability of zinc (Zn) minerals in ruminant feed plays an important role in the metabolism, health, and productivity of livestock. However, the absorption of zinc minerals in conventional feed is often inefficient due to its limited bioavailability. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of nano zinc based on moringa leaves as a feed additive on zinc (Zn) levels in Peranakan Etawa (PE) goat milk. Nano zinc was synthesized using a green synthesis method with moringa leaf extract as a natural, environmentally friendly reducing agent. The study was conducted at CV. Kutaraja Jaya Farm from April to July 2025. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments, namely P0 (without nano zinc), P1 (10 ppm), P2 (20 ppm), P3 (30 ppm), and P4 (40 ppm), as well as three groups based on lactation period. The size of the nano zinc particles was analyzed using a Particle Size Analyzer (PSA), while the zinc content in milk was measured with an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The analysis results showed that the particles produced had an average size of 43 nm, proving that zinc was successfully formed on a nano scale. The administration of moringa leaf-based nano zinc had no significant effect (P>0.05) on zinc levels in PE goat milk, but there was a tendency for zinc levels to increase in the P2 (20 ppm) treatment, with the highest value being 11.95 ppm. In conclusion, the administration of nano zinc based on moringa leaves has the potential to increase zinc levels in PE goat milk, although it has not yet shown a statistically significant effect. Further research with a longer administration period is recommended.
