Pertambangan batubara merupakan sektor strategis dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, di mana efisiensi operasional, khususnya dalam proses pemuatan dan pengangkutan (hauling), menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan produksi. pt bukit asam tbk, sebagai salah satu perusahaan tambang batubara terbesar di indonesia, telah mengimplementasikan bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system sebagai sistem berbasis teknologi untuk mengatasi inefisiensi sistem konvensional. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efisiensi biaya dan kelayakan ekonomi antara sistem pengangkutan konvensional dan bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system di area pit 3 timur banko tengah. penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui kombinasi data primer dan sekunder. data primer berupa cycle time, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system, informasi biaya, serta dokumen historis perusahaan. analisis efisiensi dilakukan dengan tiga skenario yaitu sistem konvensional (0%), non-optimal dan aktual bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system (5–15%), serta continuous improvement (20–25%). hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system dengan efisiensi 15% mampu meningkatkan produktivitas hingga 17,65% dan produksi sebesar 35,29%, dengan potensi pencapaian lebih tinggi melalui peningkatan berkelanjutan. dari sisi biaya, implementasi sistem ini menghasilkan penghematan sebesar 15,48% hingga 24,18%, bahkan dapat mencapai 35% dalam skenario continuous improvement. secara ekonomi, sistem ini dinilai sangat layak diterapkan, ditunjukkan oleh nilai npv sebesar rp265,87 miliar, irr sebesar 106%, dan payback period dalam waktu ± 6 bulan. penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bukit asam mine dispatch optimations system tidak hanya unggul secara teknis, tetapi juga efisien secara biaya dan layak sebagai investasi jangka panjang dalam operasional pertambangan.



Abstract

Coal mining is a strategic sector in supporting national economic growth, where operational efficiency particularly in the hauling process plays a crucial role in production success. PT Bukit Asam Tbk, as one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia, has implemented the Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimations System, a technology-based system designed to address inefficiencies in conventional operations. This study aims to compare cost efficiency and economic feasibility between the conventional hauling system and the Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimations System in the PIT 3 East Banko Tengah area. The research uses a quantitative approach, combining both primary and secondary data. Primary data includes cycle time, while secondary data is obtained from Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimations System reports, cost information, and historical company documents. The efficiency analysis was conducted using three scenarios, which are the conventional system (0%), the non-optimal and actual performance of the Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimization System (5–15%), and the continuous improvement scenario (20–25%). The analysis results indicate that the Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimations System, with 15% efficiency, can improve productivity by up to 17.65% and increase production by 35.29%, with even greater potential through continuous improvement. From a cost perspective, the implementation of this system results in savings ranging from 15.48% to 24.18%, and potentially up to 35% under Continuous Improvement scenarios. Economically, the system is considered highly feasible, as reflected by an NPV of IDR 265.87 billion, an IRR of 106%, and a Payback Period of approximately six months. This study concludes that the Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimations System not only excels in technical performance but is also cost-efficient and viable as a long-term investment in mining operations.
