Abstrak perancangan stadion sepak bola tipe b di kabupaten aceh utara dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap olahraga sepak bola, sementara fasilitas stadion yang ada belum memenuhi standar nasional. tujuan perancangan ini adalah menciptakan stadion bertaraf nasional yang tidak hanya memenuhi ketentuan pssi dan standar stadion tipe b, tetapi juga menghadirkan desain yang modern, efisien, serta fungsional melalui penerapan konsep high tech architecture. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menitikberatkan pada pengumpulan dan analisis data non-numerik untuk memahami kebutuhan fungsional, konteks tapak, serta karakteristik pengguna. proses ini dilakukan melalui studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan studi banding terhadap beberapa stadion nasional dan internasional seperti gbla, sugbk, dan kaohsiung stadium. hasil perancangan menonjolkan struktur space frame sebagai elemen utama pada atap tribun, penggunaan material logam dan kaca untuk memberikan kesan transparansi dan ringan, serta bentuk bangunan yang mengekspresikan karakter teknologi tinggi dan dinamis. desain stadion ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landmark baru bagi kabupaten aceh utara, yang tidak hanya mendukung kegiatan olahraga lokal, tetapi juga mencerminkan perkembangan arsitektur modern di daerah tersebut. kata kunci: stadion sepak bola tipe b, high tech architecture, aceh utara, space frame, metode kualitatif.

ABSTRACT The design of the Type B Football Stadium in North Aceh Regency is motivated by the high public interest in football, while the existing stadium facilities have not yet met national standards. The purpose of this design is to create a national-level stadium that not only complies with PSSI regulations and Type B Stadium standards but also presents a modern, efficient, and functional design through the application of the HighTech Architecture concept. The research method used is a qualitative approach, focusing on the collection and analysis of non-numerical data to understand functional needs, site context, and user characteristics. This process was carried out through literature studies, field observations, and comparative studies of several national and international stadiums, such as GBLA, SUGBK, and Kaohsiung Stadium. The design highlights the use of a space frame structure as the main element of the grandstand roof, incorporating metal and glass materials to create a transparent and lightweight appearance. The overall building form expresses the character of advanced technology and dynamic modernity. This stadium is expected to become a new landmark for North Aceh Regency, supporting local sports activities while reflecting the region’s progress in modern architectural development.
