Perancangan rumah sakit khusus ginjal di banda aceh dengan tema healing environment ini merupakan respons terhadap meningkatnya jumlah penderita gagal ginjal di provinsi aceh terutama di kota banda aceh yang menuntut tersedianya fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih memadai dan berfokus pada proses penyembuhan pasien baik secara fisik, emosional, maupun psikologis. rumah sakit ini dirancang untuk memberikan layanan medis yang komprehensif, mulai dari pencegahan, diagnosis, terapi, operasi, hingga rehabilitasi pasien ginjal. konsep healing environment diterapkan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung proses penyembuhan secara fisik, psikologis, dan spiritual. prinsip ini diwujudkan melalui desain yang ramah pengguna, pencahayaan alami yang optimal, sirkulasi udara yang baik, integrasi elemen alam seperti taman penyembuhan (healing garden), serta suasana yang tenang dan nyaman bagi pasien, keluarga, maupun tenaga medis. selain itu, rumah sakit ini mengakomodasi fasilitas khusus seperti unit hemodialisis, poliklinik nefrologi, rawat inap, ruang rehabilitasi, serta ruang edukasi pasien. pemilihan lokasi di banda aceh mempertimbangkan aksesibilitas, kenyamanan lingkungan, serta potensi pengembangan fasilitas kesehatan rujukan regional. pendekatan desain arsitektur berfokus pada harmoni antara fungsi medis dan kenyamanan lingkungan, sehingga tercipta bangunan yang tidak hanya efektif secara fungsional, tetapi juga mendukung percepatan proses penyembuhan pasien.

The design of the Specialty Kidney Hospital in Banda Aceh, with the theme "Healing Environment," is a response to the increasing number of kidney failure patients in Aceh Province, particularly in the city of Banda Aceh. This demands more adequate healthcare facilities focused on the physical, emotional, and psychological healing process for patients. The hospital is designed to provide comprehensive medical services, from prevention and diagnosis to therapy and surgery to rehabilitation for kidney patients. The "Healing Environment" concept is applied to create an environment that supports the physical, psychological, and spiritual healing process. This principle is realized through user-friendly design, optimal natural lighting, good air circulation, the integration of natural elements such as a healing garden, and a calm and comfortable atmosphere for patients, families, and medical personnel. In addition, the hospital accommodates specialized facilities such as a hemodialysis unit, a nephrology polyclinic, inpatient care, a rehabilitation room, and a patient education room. The location in Banda Aceh was selected considering accessibility, environmental comfort, and the potential for development as a regional referral healthcare facility. The architectural design approach focuses on harmony between medical function and environmental comfort, thus creating a building that is not only functionally effective, but also supports the acceleration of the patient's healing process.
