[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan ramdiana, s.sn., m.sn., dan yuli astuti, s.pd., m.pd. penelitian ini berjudul “penerapan metode magic if stanislavski dalam pendekatan peran ani pada naskah suara-suara mati karya manuel van loggem yang disutradarai oleh martha agatha”. rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan metode magic if dalam menghidupkan peran ani. tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan proses penerapan magic if untuk memahami dan menjiwai tokoh ani dalam pementasan. subjek penelitian adalah peneliti rafhika putri sebagai pemeran tokoh ani, sementara objek penelitian adalah metode magic if stanislavski. data diperoleh dengan tehnik, catatan latihan, wawancara dengan sutradara, serta dokumentasi proses latihan dan pertunjukan. analisis dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikannya dalam uraian deskriptif, kemudian diverifikasi sesuai teori stanislavski. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan magic if membantu aktor memperkecil jarak pengalaman pribadi dengan tokoh. tokoh ani yang penuh kecurigaan dan kegelisahan dapat diwujudkan melalui imajinasi aktor terhadap situasi “bagaimana jika” dirinya berada pada kondisi tersebut. hal ini terlihat dalam olah tubuh yang menunjukkan kegelisahan, olah suara yang menampilkan intonasi penuh emosi, serta alur perasaan yang konsisten dari awal hingga akhir pertunjukan. dengan demikian, magic if terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan realisme psikologis tokoh ani sesuai tuntutan naskah dan penyutradaraan. kata kunci: stanislavski, magic if, pemeranan, suara-suara mati

ABSTRACT Izza Rafiqa. (2025). The Application of Stanislavski’s Magic If Method in Approaching the Role of Ani in the Play Suara-Suara Mati by Manuel Van Loggem Directed by Martha Agatha. [Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Supervised by Ramdiana, S.Sn., M.Sn., and Yuli Astuti, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study is entitled “The Application of Stanislavski’s Magic If Method in Approaching the Role of Ani in the Play Suara-Suara Mati by Manuel Van Loggem Directed by Martha Agatha.” The research problem is how the Magic If method is applied in embodying the role of Ani. The aim of this research is to describe the process of applying the Magic If method in order to understand and internalize the character of Ani in the performance. The subject of this research is the researcher herself, Rafhika Putri, as the actress portraying Ani, while the object of the research is Stanislavski’s Magic If method. Data were collected through rehearsal notes, interviews with the director, and documentation of rehearsals and performances. The analysis was carried out by reducing the data, presenting it descriptively, and verifying it according to Stanislavski’s theory. The results of the study show that the application of the Magic If method helps the actor bridge the gap between personal experience and the character. Ani, who is full of suspicion and anxiety, can be embodied through the actor’s imagination of “what if” she were in that situation. This is reflected in the use of body movements that convey anxiety, vocal intonation that expresses emotion, and a consistent flow of feelings from the beginning to the end of the performance. Thus, the Magic If method proves to be effective in creating the psychological realism of Ani’s character in accordance with the demands of the script and the director’s vision.
