Abstrak sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah, termasuk di kota banda aceh yang mengembangkan wisata berbasis sejarah dan mitigasi bencana. salah satu destinasi unggulan adalah situs tsunami pltd kapal apung. namun demikian, peningkatan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan belum sebanding dengan potensi yang dimiliki. oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cleanliness, promotion, dan facility terhadap tourism performance dengan tourism experience sebagai variabel mediasi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel cleanliness, promotion, dan facility terhadap tourism performance baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui tourism experience pada destinasi wisata situs tsunami pltd kapal apung. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis structural equation modeling-partial least square (sem-pls). data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 161 responden wisatawan yang mengunjungi lokasi tersebut, dengan teknik purposive sampling. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cleanliness dan promotion memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tourism performance, sementara facility tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung. tourism experience terbukti menjadi mediator parsial dalam hubungan cleanliness, promotion, dan facility terhadap tourism performance, dengan nilai variance accounted for (vaf) masing-masing sebesar 52,89%, 64,05%, dan 70%. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman wisata memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat pengaruh variabel-variabel eksternal terhadap kinerja pariwisata. kata kunci: cleanliness, promotion, facility, tourism experience, tourism performance, situs tsunami, banda aceh

ABSTRACT The tourism sector is one of the strategic sectors in regional economic development, including in Banda Aceh City which develops history-based tourism and disaster mitigation. One of the leading destinations is the PLTD Kapal Apung Tsunami Site. However, the increase in the number of tourist visits has not been comparable to the potential it has. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the effect of Cleanliness, Promotion, and Facilities on Tourism Performance with Tourism Experience as a mediating variable. This study aims to determine how much influence the Cleanliness, Promotion, and Facilities variables have on Tourism Performance both directly and indirectly through Tourism Experience at the PLTD Kapal Apung Tsunami Site tourist destination. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis method. Data were collected through questionnaires to 161 tourist respondents who visited the location, using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that Cleanliness and Promotion have a positive and significant influence on Tourism Performance, while Facilities do not have a significant direct effect. Tourism Experience is proven to be a partial mediator in the relationship between Cleanliness, Promotion, and Facilities on Tourism Performance, with Variance Accounted For (VAF) values of 52.89%, 64.05%, and 70%, respectively. This shows that tourism experience has an important role in strengthening the influence of external variables on tourism performance.
