[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. di bawah bimbingan dr. usman, s.pd., m.pd. dan dewi annisa, s.pd., m.pd. komunikasi matematis merupakan kemampuan mengungkapkan ide atau gagasan secara lisan maupun tulisan. namun, kenyataan menunjukkan komunukasi matematis siswa masih rendah. tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray (tsts) dapat meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa di kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan non-equivalent control grup design. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas yaitu kelas viii-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas viii-1 kelas kontrol. instrumen penelitian berupa tes yang bertujuan untuk mengukur komunikasi matematis siswa. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa di kelas viii smp negeri 17 banda aceh. model pembelajaran kooperatif two stay two stray dapat dijadikan pilihan dalam meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa. kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, two stay two stray.

ABSTRACK Faizatul Tania Uzma (2025). Implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Students' Mathematical Communication in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. [Skripsi. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under direction of Dr. Usman, S.Pd., M.Pd. dan Dewi Annisa, S.Pd., M.Pd. Mathematical communication is the ability to express ideas orally or in writing. However, the reality shows that students' mathematical communication is still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematical communication in class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type with a non-equivalent control group design. The study population was all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh by taking two classes as samples, namely class VIII-2 as the experimental class and class VIII-1 as the control class. The research instrument was a test that aims to measure students' mathematical communication. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model can improve students' mathematical communication in class VIII of SMP Negeri 17 Banda Aceh. The Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model can be an option in improving students' mathematical communication. Kata kunci: Mathematical communication, Two Stay Two Stray.
