Kebisingan di lingkungan kerja industri merupakan salah satu faktor risiko ergonomi yang berdampak serius terhadap kesehatan dan produktivitas pekerja. paparan kebisingan yang melebihi ambang batas dapat menyebabkan gangguan pendengaran permanen, menurunnya performa kerja, serta menimbulkan gangguan psikososial dan kesehatan lainnya. kondisi ini menjadi perhatian penting dalam pengelolaan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (k3), khususnya di sektor industri seperti pabrik kelapa sawit yang menggunakan mesin berintensitas suara tinggi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis tingkat kebisingan serta sebarannya di ruang mesin dan ruang kernel pabrik kelapa sawit pt. kallista alam, kabupaten nagan raya, sekaligus menentukan durasi aman paparan kebisingan berdasarkan standar ketenagakerjaan. metode penelitian meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan pengukuran langsung menggunakan sound level meter, dengan analisis spasial melalui perangkat lunak golden software surfer 23. hasil pengukuran menunjukkan tingkat kebisingan di ruang mesin mencapai 104,44 db dan di ruang kernel sebesar 99,08 db, keduanya melebihi ambang batas regulasi. analisis titik operator memperlihatkan bahwa pada shift pagi, titik 15, 25, 22, dan 23 termasuk kategori tidak aman, sedangkan titik 5 dan 26 aman; pada shift malam, titik 15 dan 23 tidak aman, sementara titik 5, 25, 22, dan 26 tetap aman. sementara itu, seluruh titik operator di ruang kernel (5, 9, 12, 19, 20, dan 21) pada shift pagi maupun malam berada dalam kategori aman. dosis kebisingan harian pekerja juga melampaui batas yang diperbolehkan, dengan durasi paparan aman hanya 3,75 hingga 30 menit per hari, jauh dari waktu kerja normal 8 jam. temuan ini menegaskan perlunya implementasi pengendalian kebisingan secara komprehensif melalui pendekatan hirarki kontrol serta sistem pemantauan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan guna menjamin keselamatan dan kesejahteraan pekerja.



Abstract

Noise in industrial work environments is one of the ergonomic risk factors that has a serious impact on workers’ health and productivity. Exposure to noise exceeding the permissible threshold can cause permanent hearing loss, decreased work performance, and various psychosocial and other health disorders. This condition is a major concern in occupational health and safety (OHS) management, particularly in industrial sectors such as palm oil mills that operate high-intensity sound machinery. This study aims to measure and analyze noise levels and their distribution in the engine room and kernel room of PT. Kallista Alam Palm Oil Mill, Nagan Raya Regency, as well as to determine the safe exposure duration based on labor standards. The research methods included field observation, interviews, and direct measurement using a sound level meter, supported by spatial analysis through Golden Software Surfer 23. The measurement results showed that the noise level in the engine room reached 104.44 dB and in the kernel room 99.08 dB, both exceeding regulatory limits. Operator point analysis indicated that during the morning shift, points 15, 25, 22, and 23 were classified as unsafe, while points 5 and 26 were safe; during the night shift, points 15 and 23 were unsafe, while points 5, 25, 22, and 26 remained safe. Meanwhile, all operator points in the kernel room (5, 9, 12, 19, 20, and 21) during both morning and night shifts were within the safe category. Workers’ daily noise doses also exceeded the permissible limit, with safe exposure durations ranging only from 3.75 to 30 minutes per day—far below the normal 8-hour work period. These findings highlight the urgent need for comprehensive noise control implementation through the hierarchy of controls approach, along with continuous monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure workers’ safety and well-being.
