Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis relasi kuasa dan wujud resistensi nyai ontosoroh tokoh dalam novel bumi manusia menggunakan teori michel foucault. metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana. sumber data dalam penelitian ini merupakan novel berjudul bumi manusia karya pramoedya ananta toer dengan data berupa kutipan, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung, dari kalimat dan paragraf yang memuat masalah penelitian di dalamnya. hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya relasi kuasa nyai ontosoroh melalui (1) relasi kuasa tubuh yang dibagi menjadi dua: (a) relasi kuasa tubuh sosial (b) relasi kuasa tubuh individual (2) relasi kuasa pemikiran. serta, terdapat wujud resistensi yang dilakukan oleh nyai ontosoroh melawan budaya patriarki dan struktur kolonial yang menindas dirinya secara gender maupun kelas sosial. kata kunci: relasi kuasa, analisis wacana, novel bumi manusia

This research aims to describe and analyze the power relations and forms of resistance of Nyai Ontosoroh, a character in the novel Bumi Manusia using Michel Foucault's theory. This research method is qualitative research that uses a discourse analysis approach. The source of data in this study is a novel titled Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer with data in the form of quotes, both direct and indirect, from sentences and paragraphs that contain research problems in it. The results of the study show that there are Nyai Ontosoroh’s power relations through (1) Power relations of the body which is divided into two: (a) Social body power relations (b) Individual body power relations (2) There are power relations of thought. Also, there are resistances against power carried out by Nyai Ontosoroh against the patriarchal culture and colonial structures that oppress her both in terms of gender and social class.
