Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis produktivitas dan komposisi hasil tangkapan alat tangkap pukat cincin (purse seine) di perairan aceh singkil. metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui studi kasus terhadap empat armada kapal yang beroperasi di wilayah tersebut. data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama periode mei–juni 2025. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas tertinggi dimiliki oleh kapal km_0005_010 dengan nilai 1.759 kg/trip, sedangkan yang terendah adalah km_0030_0050 dengan nilai 1.255 kg/trip. komposisi hasil tangkapan didominasi oleh ikan tongkol timphik (euthynnus affinis) sebesar 49%, selar tengkek (megalaspis cordyla) sebesar 17%, dan cakalang (katsuwonus pelamis) sebesar 12%. berdasarkan nilai persentasi komposisi hasil tangkapan menunjukan bahwa hasil tangkapan utama nelayan pukat cincin adalah ikan pelagis. penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan perikanan yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan. kata kunci: hasil tangkapan, ikan pelagis produktivitas, pukat cincin.

This study aims to analyze the productivity and catch composition of purse seine fisheries in the waters of Aceh Singkil. A quantitative approach was employed through a case study of four fishing vessels operating in the area. Data were collected through direct observation, structured interviews, and documentation during the period of May–June 2025. The findings revealed that the highest productivity was recorded by vessel KM_0005_010 with 1,759 kg per trip, while the lowest was observed in KM_0030_0050 with 1,255 kg per trip. The catch composition was dominated by frigate tuna (Euthynnus affinis) at 49%, followed by torpedo scad (Megalaspis cordyla) at 17%, and skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) at 12%. These results indicate that the primary target species of purse seine fisheries in the region are pelagic fish. The study is expected to contribute to the development of more efficient and sustainable fisheries management strategies. Keywords: productivity, purse seine, catch composition, pelagic fish.
