Zikra surrahmah (2025). meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak melalui media flash card di paud ar rayyan aceh besar [skripsi, universitas syiah kuala]. di bawah bimbingan suhartati, s.pd., m.pd dan gracia mandira, s.pd., m.ed. penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan bahwa adanya permasalahan dalam kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada anak paud ar rayyan aceh besar pada kelompok a di usia 4-5 tahun. anak belum bisa mengenal huruf vokal, belum bisa mengucapkan huruf dengan baik dan belum bisa menulis huruf di papan tulis. tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak melalui media flash card di paud ar rayyan. penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) model kemmis dan mctaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus mencakup 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dengan subjek penelitian 11 orang anak. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dan perkembangan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada anak yaitu pada siklus ii tindakan ii berada pada skor 80,68%. langkah kegiatan yaitu guru memperkenalkan media flash card huruf vokal bergambar kepada anak, guru menjelaskan bagaimana cara menggunakan media flash card huruf vokal, guru meminta anak untuk maju satu persatu untuk mencocok kartu huruf vokal dengan kartu gambar di flash card dan menyebutkannya, guru meminta anak untuk mengangkat kartu flash card yang sudah disebutkan agar teman-temannya bisa terlihat, guru membagikan lembar kerja kepada anak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis anak. berdasarkan uraian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media flash card dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada anak di paud ar rayyan aceh besar. kata kunci: anak usia dini, kemampuan mengenal huruf, media falsh card.

Zikra Surrahmah (2025). Improving the Ability to Recognise Letters in Children Through Flash Card Media at PAUD Ar Rayyan Great Aceh [Thesis, Syiah Kuala University]. Under the guidance of Suhartati, S.Pd., M.Pd and Gracia Mandira, S.Pd., M.Ed. This study was motivated by findings that there were problems in the ability to recognise vowels among children aged 4-5 years in Group A at the Ar Rayyan Aceh Besar Early Childhood Education Centre. The children were unable to recognise vowels, unable to pronounce letters properly, and unable to write letters on the blackboard. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in the ability to recognise letters in children through the use of flash cards at Ar Rayyan PAUD. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model by Kemmis and McTaggart, which was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle covered 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection with 11 children as research subjects. The data collection technique was carried out through observation of the teacher's activities and the development of the children's ability to recognise vowels. The results of this study indicate that there was an improvement in children's ability to recognise vowels, namely in cycle II of action II, with a score of 80.68%. The steps of the activity were as follows: the teacher introduced the children to picture flash cards of vowels; the teacher explained how to use the flash cards; the teacher asked the children to come forward one by one to match the vowel cards with the pictures on the flash cards and say the names of the vowels; the teacher asked the children to hold up the flash cards they had named so that their friends could see them; and the teacher distributed worksheets to the children to improve their writing skills. Based on the above description, it can be concluded that the use of flash cards can improve children's ability to recognise vowels at the Ar Rayyan Great Aceh Early Childhood Education Centre.
