[skripsi. universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dr. intan safiah, s.ag., m.pd. dan linda vitoria, s.si., m.sc. rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam khususnya pada materi kisah hijrah nabi muhammad saw menjadi permasalahan di sd negeri garot. salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan media komik sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media komik terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi kisah hijrah nabi muhammad saw di kelas iv sd negeri garot kabupaten aceh besar. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi experimental design dengan model nonequivalent control group design . populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas iv sd negeri garot yang terdiri dari dua kelas. sampel penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik kelas iva sebagai kelas kontrol (29 peserta didik) dan kelas ivb sebagai kelas eksperimen (30 peserta didik), yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal yang diberikan dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest, data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji mann-whitney. hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai asymp. sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. dengan demikian, ha diterima dan ho ditolak. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media komik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi kisah hijrah nabi muhammad saw di kelas iv sd negeri garot kabupaten aceh besar. kata kunci: media komik, hasil belajar, hijrah nabi muhammad saw, pendidikan agama islam.

The low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially in the material of the Story of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Hijrah, are a problem at Garot State Elementary School. One solution that can be used is to use comic media as a learning aid. This study aims to determine the effect of comic media on student learning outcomes in the material of the Story of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's Hijrah in grade IV of Garot State Elementary School, Aceh Besar Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design model. The population in this study were all grade IV students of Garot State Elementary School, which consisted of two classes. The research sample consisted of grade IVA students as the control class (29 students) and grade IVB as the experimental class (30 students), which were determined by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test of 10 questions given in the form of a pretest and posttest, learning outcome data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. The results of the analysis showed the Asymp. Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Thus, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of comic media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes on the material of the Story of the Hijrah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in grade IV of Garot State Elementary School, Aceh Besar Regency.
