Kementerian pendidikan tinggi sains dan teknologi program studi magister kesehatan masyarakat fakultas kedokteran universitas syiah kuala tesis, 23 juli 2025 zul habibi pengaruh peran case manager dengan efisiensi operasional rumah sakit di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit umum daerah dr. zainoel abidin provinsi aceh 175 halaman + 19 tabel + 4 gambar + 15 lampiran abstrak latar belakang: case manager memiliki peran krusial dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan, terutama dalam memastikan koordinasi yang efektif, komunikasi antar profesi, perencanaan perawatan, pencegahan duplikasi intervensi, serta pengawasan pelayanan pasien. namun, implementasi peran case manager di rumah sakit masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang dapat mempengaruhi efisiensi operasional rumah sakit. tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran case manager terhadap efisiensi operasional rumah sakit di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit umum daerah dr. zainoel abidin. metode penelitian: jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional dan desain cross-sectional. subjek penelitian adalah keseluruhan populasi, yaitu sebanyak 39 orang kepala ruang rawat inap yang dipilih secara total sampling. instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner tentang peran case manager dan lembar observasi barber johnson. analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi spearman rho. hasil: penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh peran case manager yang signifikan dengan efisiensi operasional rumah sakit secara umum dengan nilai korelasi (p:0,036), sedangkan berdasarkan sub variabel yaitu; koordinasi pelayanan kesehatan (p:0,009), komunikasi (p:0,048), perencanaan perawatan (p:0,024), pencegahan duplikasi intervensi (p:0,025), dan pengawasan (p:0,046) dengan efisiensi operasional di ruang rawat inap. kesimpulan: penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran case manager memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi operasional. sehingga optimalisasi peran case manager menjadi strategi penting untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit. kata kunci : peran case manager, efisiensi operasional, rawat inap daftar pustaka : 6 buku + 21 jurnal + 3 web

However, the implementation of the Case Manager role in hospitals still faces various challenges that can affect hospital operational efficiency. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of the Case Manager role on hospital operational efficiency in the inpatient ward of Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital. Research Method: This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach and cross-sectional design. The research subjects were the entire population, namely 39 heads of inpatient wards selected by total sampling. The research instruments used were a questionnaire on the role of case managers and observation sheets Barber Johnson. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. Statistical analysis using correlation test Spearman Rho. Results: The study showed that there was a significant influence of the Case Manager's role on the operational efficiency of the hospital in general with a correlation value (p: 0.036), while based on sub-variables, namely; coordination of health services (p: 0.009), communication (p: 0.048), care planning (p: 0.024), prevention of duplication of interventions (p: 0.025), and supervision (p: 0.046) with operational efficiency in the inpatient ward. Conclusion: This study shows that the role of the Case Manager has a significant influence on operational efficiency. Therefore, optimizing the role of the Case Manager is an important strategy for improving the quality of hospital services.
