Kompetensi profesional guru adalah kemampuan guru dalam menjalankan profesi keguruannya, artinya guru yang melaksanakan profesinya dapat disebut sebagai guru yang profesional. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi profesional guru dalam penerapan profil pelajar pancasila di sd wilayah vii kabupaten pidie. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 9 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang kepala sekolah, 6 orang guru dan 1 orang pengawas sekolah di sd wilayah vii kabupaten pidie. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) program kompetensi profesional guru dalam penerapan profil pelajar pancasila di sd wilayah vii kabupaten pidie sudah berjalan dengan baik, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa tantangan. guru telah menunjukkan pemahaman yang memadai tentang profil pelajar pancasila, mampu merancang pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pancasila, serta menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. namun, beberapa guru masih memerlukan pendampingan lebih lanjut, terutama dalam hal penguasaan teknologi dan manajemen waktu. (2) strategi penerapan profil pelajar pancasila meliputi pembelajaran berbasis proyek, kolaboratif, dan penilaian komprehensif yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. (3) tantangan yang dihadapi guru antara lain keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan dukungan dari orang tua. untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan upaya kolaboratif dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, sekolah, dan masyarakat. penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan, serta dukungan sumber daya yang memadai, dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif bagi pembentukan karakter peserta didik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pancasila. bagian penting dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kebijakan yang mendukung pengembangan profesional guru dan integrasi nilai-nilai pancasila dalam kurikulum sekolah.



Abstract

A professional is an individual who performs work in accordance with their educational background or expertise. Professionalism refers to an occupation or position that requires particular skills or competencies. Teachers, in this context, are expected to serve as role models for their students. Professional competence in teaching refers to a teacher's ability or authority to carry out their teaching profession, implying that a teacher who practices their profession effectively can be regarded as a professional educator. This study aimed to analyze the professional competence of teachers in implementing the Pancasila Learner Profile at elementary schools in Region VII of Pidie District. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study included nine individuals: two school principals, six teachers, and one school supervisor from elementary schools in Region VII of Pidie District. The findings revealed that: (1) The professional competence programs for teachers in implementing the Pancasila Learner Profile have been conducted effectively, although several challenges remain. Teachers have demonstrated a sufficient understanding of the Pancasila Learner Profile, the ability to design lesson plans integrating Pancasila values, and the use of creative and innovative teaching methods. However, some teachers still require further assistance, particularly in mastering technology and time management (2) The strategies employed in implementing the Pancasila Learner Profile include project-based learning, collaborative approaches, and comprehensive assessments that cover cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains (3) Challenges faced by teachers included time constraints, limited resources, and insufficient parental support. To overcome these challenges, collaborative efforts are needed from various parties, including the government, schools and communities. This research concluded that improving teachers' professional competence through continuous training and mentoring, as well as adequate resource support, can create a conducive learning environment for the formation of students' character in accordance with the values of Pancasila. An important part of this research is the need for policies that support teachers' professional development and the integration of Pancasila values in the school curriculum.
