Penggunaan herbisida bertujuan untuk pengendalian gulma secara efektif dan selektif. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas herbisida metribuzin dan pendimethalin pada berbagai taraf dosis terhadap pertumbuhan gulma dan hasil tanaman kedelai. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan i fakultas pertanian, universitas syiah kuala dan laboratorium pengelolaan gulma, departemen agroteknologi, fakultas pertanian, universitas syiah kuala, banda aceh. penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada maret 2025 sampai dengan juli 2025. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral) non faktorial yang terdiri dari delapan perlakuan dengan tiga ulangan. faktor yang diteliti meliputi gulma dibiarkan terus-menerus, gulma disiangi terus-menerus, metribuzin 1,5 kg b.a ha-1 , pendimethalin 1,5 kg b.a ha-1 , metribuzin 1 kg b.a ha-1 + pendimethalin 1 kg b.a ha-1 , metribuzin 0,75 kg b.a ha-1+ pendimethalin 0,75 kg b.a ha-1 , metribuzin 0,5 kg b.a ha-1 + pendimethalin 0,5 kg b.a ha-1 , metribuzin 0,4 kg b.a ha-1 + pendimethalin 0,4 kg b.a ha-1 . peubah yang diamati meliputi persentase pengendalian gulma, persentase penutupan gulma, spesies gulma, individu gulma, bobot kering gulma, bobot kering tanaman, indeks persentase keracunan tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, dan jumlah biji per tanaman. hasil menunjukkan pengaplikasian herbisida metribuzin dan pendimethalin 0,4 kg b.a ha-1 mampu meningkatkan pesentase pengendalian gulma, bobot kering tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, dan jumlah biji per tanaman serta mampu menurunkan persentase penutupan gulma, spesies gulma, individu gulma, bobot kering gulma, dan indeks persentase keracunan tanaman.



Abstract

The use of herbicides aims to control weeds effectively and selectively. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of metribuzin and pendimethalin herbicides at various doses on weed growth and soybean crop yields. This research was conducted at the Experimental Farm I, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, and the Weed Management Laboratory, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. The research was carried out from March 2025 to July 2025. The research employed a non-factorial Complete Randomised Design (CRD) consisting of eight treatments with three replications. The factors investigated included continuous weed growth, continuous weed removal, metribuzin 1.5 kg a.i. ha-1 , pendimethalin 1.5 kg a.i. ha1 , metribuzin 1 kg a.i. ha-1 + pendimethalin 1 kg a.i. ha-1 , metribuzin 0.75 kg a.i. ha-1 + pendimethalin 0.75 kg a.i. ha-1 , metribuzin 0.5 kg a.i. ha-1 + pendimethalin 0.5 kg a.i. ha-1 , and metribuzin 0.4 kg a.i. ha-1 + pendimethalin 0.4 kg a.i. ha-1 . The variables observed included weed control percentage, weed coverage percentage, weed species, weed individuals, dry weight of weeds, dry weight of plants, plant toxicity percentage index, number of pods per plant, and number of seeds per plant. The results showed that the application of metribuzin and pendimethalin herbicides at 0.4 kg a.i. ha-1 was able to increase weed control percentage, plant dry weight, number of pods per plant, and number of seeds per plant, while reducing weed coverage percentage, weed species, weed individuals, weed dry weight, and plant toxicity percentage index.
