[skripsi universitas syiah kuala]. dibawah bimbingan dra. yuhasriati, m.pd., dan rosmiati, s.pd.i., m.ed. kemampuan anak usia dini dalam menjaga diri dari kekerasan seksual merupakan aspek perkembangan yang sangat penting untuk diperkenalkan dan dikembangkan sejak dini, sebagai upaya perlindungan anak dari tindakan yang membahayakan fisik maupun psikologis mereka. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan anak usia 5–6 tahun dalam menjaga diri dari kekerasan seksual melalui media read aloud pop-up book. penelitian dilaksanakan di tk bunga bangsa lambaro angan aceh besar dengan subjek sebanyak 13 anak, terdiri dari 6 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan penilaian unjuk kerja, dengan indikator keberhasilan minimal 75% anak mencapai kategori berkembang sesuai harapan (bsh) dan berkembang sangat baik (bsb) pada setiap aspek kemampuan yang diamati. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kemampuan anak menjaga diri dari kekerasan seksual melalui read aloud pop-up book dengan tahapan membaca cerita dengan ekspresif, tanya jawab interaktif, penguatan konsep hak atas tubuh, serta penyampaian situasi yang membahayakan secara visual dan konkret. selain itu, dilakukan pula penguatan melalui pujian dan pemberian penghargaan sederhana untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri anak. persentase keberhasilan pada siklus i masih belum mencapai indikator, namun pada siklus ii mengalami peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata keberhasilan mencapai 91,02% (bsb). dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui read aloud pop-up book dapat membantu mengembangkan kemampuan anak menjaga diri dari kekerasan seksual di tk bunga bangsa lambaro angan aceh besar. kata kunci: kemampuan menjaga diri, kekerasan seksual, anak usia dini, read aloud, pop-up book.



Abstract

Syarifah Zahra Salsabila (2025). Developing Children's Ability to Protect Themselves from Sexual Violence Through Read-Aloud Pop-Up Books at Bunga Bangsa Kindergarten, Lambaro Angan, Aceh Besar. [Syiah Kuala University Thesis]. Under the guidance of Dra. Yuhasriati, M.Pd., and Rosmiati, S.Pd.I., M.Ed. Early childhood's ability to protect themselves from sexual violence is a very important developmental aspect that must be introduced and developed early on, as an effort to protect children from actions that endanger their physical and psychological well-being. This study aims to develop the ability of 5–6-year-old children to protect themselves from sexual violence through read-aloud pop-up books. The study was conducted at Bunga Bangsa Kindergarten, Lambaro Angan, Aceh Besar, with 13 children as subjects, consisting of 6 boys and 7 girls. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and performance assessment, with a minimum success indicator of 75% of children achieving the Developing as Expected (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB) categories in each observed skill aspect. The results of the study indicate that children's ability to protect themselves from sexual violence was developed through read-aloud pop-up books, which included expressive story reading, interactive question-and-answer sessions, reinforcement of the concept of body rights, and visual and concrete presentation of dangerous situations. Furthermore, reinforcement was provided through praise and simple rewards to increase children's self-confidence. The success rate in Cycle I still did not reach the indicator, but in Cycle II, it increased significantly, with an average success rate of 91.02% (BSB). The results of the study can be concluded that read-aloud pop-up books can help develop children's ability to protect themselves from sexual violence at Bunga Bangsa Kindergarten, Lambaro Angan, Aceh Besar.
