abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh belanja modal terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan menguji perputaran aset sebagai variabel moderasi di pemerintah daerah indonesia. fokus penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh disparitas kinerja ekonomi antar daerah, meskipun terdapat investasi publik yang cukup besar. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi data panel dan metode moderating regression analysis (mra). data dikumpulkan dari sumber sekunder seperti laporan keuangan pemerintah provinsi dan laporan dari badan pusat statistik (bps) periode 2021–2023. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belanja modal memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. lebih lanjut, pengaruh moderasi perputaran aset terhadap hubungan antara belanja modal dan pertumbuhan ekonomi juga signifikan secara statistik. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perputaran aset memperkuat dampak belanja modal terhadap kinerja ekonomi daerah. temuan penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya menyelaraskan belanja modal dengan pemanfaatan aset yang efisien untuk memaksimalkan pengembalian ekonomi dari investasi publik. kata kunci: pertumbuhan ekonomi, belanja modal, perputaran aset, pemerintah daerah

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of capital expenditure on economic growth and examine asset turnover as a moderating variable in Indonesian local governments. The focus of this research is motivated by disparities in economic performance across regions, despite substantial public investments. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression and the Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA) method. Data were collected from secondary sources such as provincial government financial statements and reports from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for the period 2021–2023. The results show that capital expenditure has a statistically significant effect on economic growth. Furthermore, the moderating effect of asset turnover on the relationship between capital expenditure and economic growth is also statistically significant. This suggests that asset turnover strengthens the impact of capital expenditure on regional economic performance. The findings highlight the importance of aligning capital spending with efficiency asset utilization to maximize the economic returns of public investments.
