Abstrak penelitian tentang pengaruh tinggi chanel moderator terhadap faktor multiplikasi neutron (k) pada molten salt reactor (msr) telah dilakukan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensimulasikan perubahan faktor multiplikasi neutron yang terjadi jika tinggi molten salt channel mengalami perubahan. penelitian ini menggunakan program open mc dengan pustaka endf/b.viii.0 ,jupyter lab, dan linux ubuntu 22.04 lts untuk melakukan simulasi. hasil simulasi dengan perhitungan nilai faktor multiplikasi (k) reaktor terhadap perubahan tinggi molten salt channel didapatkan bahwa semakin besar tinggi chanelnya maka faktor multiplikasi semakin tinggi. namun nilai faktor multiplikasi belum mendapatkan nilai kritis (keff=1). kata kunci: moderator, garam cair, tinggi, molten salt reactor (msr), openmc, ubuntu



Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the effect of moderator channel height on the neutron multiplication factor (k) in the Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) has been conducted. This study aims to simulate changes in the neutron multiplication factor that occurs if the height of the molten salt channel changes. This study uses the Open MC program with the ENDF/B.VIII.0 library, Jupyter lab, and Linux Ubuntu 22.04 LTS to conduct the simulation. The results of the simulation by calculating the reactor multiplication factor (k) value against changes in the height of the molten salt channel show that the greater the channel height, the higher the multiplication factor. However, the multiplication factor value has not yet reached a critical value (keff = 1) Keywords: Moderator, Molten Salt, High, Molten Salt Reactor (MSR), Openmc, Ubuntu.
